From Portugal... Hi, anyone here have a can am outlander 500 Max XT with dalton clutch kit? I've done a upgrade on cluch system, put a stock primary spring with spacer and dalton secondary spring. Put a K&N filter too. Stock sizes on tyres (Sun F A043 25x8x12 front and 25x10x12 rear). Last sunday I run with my atv at 2800ft and felt a big loss of power when run a very high climb. The top speed on that climb was 22mph. Before done this upgrade on clutch never rode at this elevation (2800ft) and never felt a big loss of power than now. Anyone has an ideia where is the problem? I Know this only a 500 ?

When an ATV Rider Hits a Jump That Only The Bikes Will Do + VideoIf you’ve ever rolled up to a track on an “open” ride day when both bikes and quads are welcome, chances are pretty good you’ve gotten a few dirty look from bike riders who would rather you keep your four wheels off the track. In those instances, we love it when someone like this guy […] more
Scrambler 500 4×4 not always working
I have an 06 scrambler 500. Until this winter the 4x4 always worked perfect and always engaged. But this year I’ve been plowing and even thought I’m in AWD it’s only spinning the rear two wheels. But it doesn’t do this all the time. Sometimes it will go into 4x4. I’m pretty sure th 4x4 is working 60% of the time or so. But not 100% like it used to. Any ideas why? It was apart about a year ago and the armatures for the magnets on the awd were cleaned. I’m stumped please help!!!

New Plastics?
Hey guys, new owner of a 2014 XMR 1000 here, was wondering if all of the plastics on the gen 2 outlanders are the same? Mine came with the cao and I really would like to change it to a different color. Not a big fan of camouflage. Also, to fit on the xmr, would the plastics have to come from a 2 seater? Or would it be the same as a single? Thanks in advance.

Polaris Warn Winch completely dead?
I have a 2004 Polaris Sportsman 400 with a Polaris Warn 2500 lb. Winch on it for my plow. The winch hasn't worked for a few months now and I really need it fixed for plowing the snow we're getting up here in Pennsylvania.
The problem is that the winch doesn't work at all. When the button is pressed, there's no clicking or any other sound coming from anywhere. Completely dead. My battery is putting out 14 volts according to my multi-meter. I've also already tried a new winch solenoid and that didn't fix the problem.
Tonight, I took the winch completely off the ATV and did a test on it. I used a car battery (charged and ready to go) and jumper cables to give direct power to each of the terminals of the winch. Isn't the winch supposed to spool up or down with direct power? Mine did literally nothing. Didn't move or make any sound. Can someone tell me what to do from here? I'm stumped. Does this mean the winch is completely fried? Thanks in advance for any advice.

2″ Receiver for the 1000 Sportsman
Just wondering if anyone knows if they make a 2" adapter for the '17 '18 Sportsman 1000?
I am not looking for the adapters from the 1 1/4 to 2" I am looking for the kind of one that replaces the small one and gives it a permanent 2"
The small 1 1/4 just seems too weak, I want to beef it up a little if I am going to be hooking up a 2" receiver.
Thanks in advance for any information.

Outlander clutch for tracks
My dad purchased a 2013 outlander 1000 and I recently installed tracks for him. It has OEM clutch with Maverick belt. Any thoughts on a good clutch kit for it. It is really jumpy getting started from a stand still. I am familiar with Dalton clutches a little. Any ideas on a clutch kit for this machine. I am partial to Dalton, but would welcome all feedback. Thanks for everybody's input.
