Have a fellow employee and friend who is getting rid of some of his dads stuff from an Alzheimer’s issue. He has a 2003 Polaris sportsman 500. His dad bought it new for the hunt club which he was only in for 2-3 years then it mainly sat, and hasn’t been used in years since then. I went and looked at it today, battery was dead but hooked up to a battery starter/charger it powered up awesome, had good compression and a strong starter. I could not get it to turn over as I believe there is bad gas and a gummed up carb. The camo is faded, but in good solid condition otherwise. Not broke or damaged. If I buy this what should I expect to pay, what should I do besides oil and gas, is the belt an issue, anything else I should look for?

Please excuse the mess, I was told his dad kept an immaculate garage till Alzheimer’s started kicking his ass.

I just bought a 15 xmr and it has snorkel extensions on it and I'm wanting to return it to the factory xmr snorkels but I'm not sure if they've been cut or what is there anyway to get a parts diagram for it to see if they have?

I put 27 inch mudlites on my hd5 and Obviously the power is down in high range. I was trying to find a clutch kit but no luck. Any suggestions?? Anyone else have the same problem and find a good solution?

I own a 2004 sportsman 500 HO. I am interested in upgrading the factory lights to LEDs. I've done some poking around online with the part numbers and nothing in particular seems to be too impressive, also website interface isn't the most user friendly in the world.

I'm looking for suggestions on different options to look into as far as bulb replacements so please respond with any suggestions that you may have. I'd also like to find a website that is good for buying different accessories for atv's that has a clean interface and is easy to use. Thanks in advance!

Hey Guys,

Is there a good step by step tutorial on here for swapping out the primary and secondary clutch? I have a 2017 Outlander XT and have bought a QSC Rev X primary and STM Secondary. Figured I might go ahead and do the install this weekend but couldn't find a good tutorial on here.

Also wanted to do a quick checklist on my tools supplies and make sure I'm not missing anything I would need for the job. I have:

- Both of the new clutches (only received a new bolt for the secondary, is the primary bolt reusable?)
- Torque wrench
- Air impact if needed

If there is no tutorial up on this site somewhere do you guys know of a good one elsewhere to follow? Also what is the torque value for each clutch when putting on the replacements and do you recommend using red thread lock on each.

Sorry for all the questions, I just want to make sure I do it right the first time! Although I wouldn't consider myself overly mechanically inclined, I've never had a problem working on projects if there is a tutorial to follow.
