I was putting the finishing touches on the 1995 300 4x4 I'm bringing back to life and noticed something that likely shouldn't be wired the way it is.
The 2 'fog' lights on the left and right of the front grill are spliced directly into the wires of the center headlight, so they all run from the same wire(s).
I don't think this model year came with a grill on the front at all, but the previous owner put 1991 plastics, and I'm assuming the front grill onto the bike.
I'm planning on installing an inline fuse and running the 2 new led fogs I bought from their own terminal on the block.
I have an open terminal on the block on the right side (middle) that shows 12v when the key is turned on.
Am I safe to wire the fog lights to this terminal, or is there a specific terminal I should be using for that?
