2017 570 Touring overheating

To help eliminate the Mud from being thrown up on the backside of the radiator ( causing premature overheating)I have ordered the RHS/LHS 2015 radiator shields and plan to put these on my 2017 ? Any feedback ? I know the importance of keeping the radiator well cleaned ( including removing the shell piece in the front storage area) but this one ride was really annoying and if it wasn't for the support of my trail ride friends it would not have ended well. I look forward to any/all feedback. Oh I did order a portable Dc Power washed but if you don't have a water supply it obviously no use) I'm not a big Mudder and this trip only affected about 5 machine but looking to eliminate future problems.
Thank you

New to Can-Am Question

I tried searching for answers before posting but havent gotten exact answers. Im new to can-am as I just purchased a 2016 Outlander 650 Max XT. It came with factory heated grips and throttle. When I tested out the grips the other day I noticed that the right side and throttle got nice and warm but the left throttle didnt. I went online and seen how to take the top plastic off where the guages are and made sure everything was plugged in correctly. Not sure if this is a known issue or not. Also I purchased the small cargo box that I thought would fit where the 2UP seat is when its taken off, but it doesnt seem to fit in the Linq. Anyone else have this issue?

2017 Sportman/Distortion in Windsheild

2017 Sportsman 850 SP/ Tall Hard Coat Windshield

Disappointing............ Has anyone else had experience with this?

Got the "Hard Coat" tall windshield with fairing. Total cost about $350 for both windshield and fairing (sold separately).

Install was easy.

**Problem is the distortion in the windshield!! It has 3 factory bent/molded curves in the windshield. These create distortion in your view. I'm actually concerned about the safety factor with reduced visual acuity now.

Might return it for a lower profile windshield. At least this way, will be able to look over the top and not have to look through the distortion? I'll be discussing issues w/the dealer.

Love everything else about it, but not having a "picture perfect" view is HUGE drawback.

Thanks

What connection is this?

2008 Sportsman 500 HO EFI here.

I decided to ditch the normal over the controls winch switch as that kills my wrist when plowing in the winter.

I ended up getting the round winch switch I think from a 2015 high lifter like below.

Obviously it’s not going to be a direct plug and play. Splicing would be the easiest, but to cut a $117 (after taxes) I can’t seem to do right now lol.

So this is the plug I’m looking for, if anybody knows that would be awesome.

Thank You!

Voltmeter fuse size.

Hello there. I have a 2008 Sportsman 500 HO EFI.

A little backstory. I bought a aftermarket voltmeter on Amazon from AutoPowerPlus.

How I mounted it was in the empty spot, where the choke goes on carb models. Fits fine. I ended up using the accessory wires as I don't use them or that socket.

It worked right away, no issues. Now yesterday (10/12), I get nothing out of the display. I have power going to it via a multimeter test, so I'm assuming it got fried. Now I contacted them and they are sending out a replacement which is awesome.

Question time.
  1. Is the standard 20A fuse fine or the correct amps for it?
  2. Should I drop it down lower? 15, 10, 7.5 etc etc?
  3. What other precautions should I take to protect it and my electrical system?

Thank You :)
