My Sportsman 400 just starting acting weird. It starts and idles fine, when over 2500 rpms approx. it runs rough and no power, also the battery light on the pod starts to flash, i'm assuming a stator going bad?
Just picked up an 07 max 400xt with 3k miles....runs strong, no obvious issues and seems to have been well maintained over it's lifetime.
I plan to take it on a deep woods run (@40 miles in), but before I do, I want to give it a thorough going through for peace of mind....I'm new to the Can Am's, but handy with a wrench and would like to know where and what to check for.. such as known issues and/or other things I that should look out for on a outie of this age/mileage
So ive consistantly broke every axle on my but one. And the same on over and over (ordered all rhinos now lol) but i pulled this guy out and realized, its definately in no wsy stock, and boy has it been a trooper. But i see no way to identify it. Any suggestions? The one on the top is like twice the soze of the other one.

Alright here?s the deal, I know I shouldn?t waste my money bla bla bla on a clutch kit for my renegade. Everyone beats buying a complete primary into everyone?s head, yada yada. Well I found a used dalton kit for 75 bucks for my 850. Wondering who on here has actually used a clutch kit and what kinda differences you saw. I understand I should buy a complete primary but the wife and kids are more of a priority then a 600 dollar primary clutch. Just looking to see if changing it out will be worth my time at all

All sportsman twin owners, I have 2011 EFI 800 twin sportsman, while trail riding and then fan comes on it will blister (2nd & 3rd degree burns) on my right leg. Does any else have this problem? I built a heat shield but now i can hear boiling fuel in the tank. Is there solution from Polaris if this is not an isolated problem to only me.
Been reading all threads regarding starting issues. So basically the bike will only start when either hand or foot brake is applied and as per the info I found it could be the neutral park position switch/sensor (correct name?).
Is this sensor the 3 nuts with wires in the attached pic? They have a rubber coating. How do I check them?
Have not been able to findo more specifics.
ATV wheel bearing replacement diy. Simply pre soak the old bearing and tap it out or use a press. Now freeze the New bearing overnight and heat the aluminum hub with the heat gun. Take your time as you do not want the bearing to get stuck halfway in the housing. Thanks for Watching and feel free to Comment with questions below!
