My 2010 550xp will not start once it gets hot. Bike will start great when it is cold (as it the engine hasn't ran in a while, or you can lay your hand on it). Once you run it for 20-30 minutes, it will just grunt when you hit the key. Took it back to dealer 5x, replaced battery several times, hooked jumper pack to it, and several other things. But nothing will help it, last thing the dealer did was they said the valves were out of adjustment bad, and it was ok for 30 or so miles, now back to the same thing. Its starting to aggravate me quite a bit now. Help would be great. Bike just acts like it is vapor locked after you get it good and hot.
500 sportsman stalls
2002 sportsman 500. I've been having issues with..i think battery drain. Ran it today at idle for about 30min. As soon as the fan kicked on it died. Had a hard time re-starting it. Started when the fan shut off. Battery is kept on tender. I had issues with it now for a while when using the plow, same thing, once the fan comes on it stalls.
temp sensor?
hi I have a 2009 500 touring that has a overheating problem, the machine will get hot and will start flashing that it is hot on the instrument pod but the fan does not come on until well after it says it is hot. thanks for your help.
New trailer
So I have a ride coming up with a buddy, both of us will be riding sportsman 570's. Neither of us have a trailer so I figure now is as good of a time as ever to look into buying a trailer. I'm really liking the idea of a hybrid trailer because it can fit then side by side vs front to back which will need at least a 16' trailer to do. I can get a r&r arc 12 for 3799 plus tax but it is a 8 week lead time and the planned ride is 3 weeks away. A different dealer has a sport haven 12' hybrid economy model for 3899 plus tax. The r&r has a beavertail which I couldn't care less about aside from it increases the door height but the sport haven looks to have a 2" taller door without the beavertail.
Does anyone have any experience with either of these brands/trailers? Any recommendations?
Thanks

Letting ATV set for some time
Just curious of any issues I should be aware of, as my ATV and UTV will be setting unused for the next year. I took a job as a Defense Contractor out of country, so hence the reason they will be setting and not getting any use. Besides changing out all new fluids when I get home next year and charging batteries, is there anything else I'm overlooking that I should be concerned about?

New Owner of 450 H.O Utility
Recently pick up a 2018 450 H.O Utility. I plan on using it to get around some hunting property and some trail riding on trips. Already ordered A-Arm guards at the suggestion of my friend and a quick search on the internet which brought me here. I plan on doing the 3 headlight mod this week with a relay off the battery while i run some other switches for aux power in the future.
Had one little issue already. while I was just taking it for some laps around the house to break it in. The linkage from transmission lever decided to come apart. I went to put it into N and the lever went slack and heard something hit the driveway. it was the plastic L shaped bracket that connects the lever to the rod with the 90 deg bend. I opened up the side and put it back together after molding the heat shield back to the body piece. I was wondering if there was anything else that should be holding that linkage together besides the plastic bracket. It looks like the heat shield just got in the way and caused it to bind. if anymore pictures are needed or anyone has a suggestion of where to post this, let me know.

Load 4 Wheel Drive
I just purchased a 2019 Defender Cab with an HD10 and when I put it in 4 wheel we can notice a distinct difference in sound and not for the better. It sounds raspy and rough...I was waiting for the front gear box or transfer case to blow up on my last ride. I've owned 4 wheel ATVs and they never sounded any different when the 4 wheel was engaged. Has anyone else experience being able to actually hear the front drive train running? And if so does it sound like a rough gear box made in China?
