2018 outlander max 1000 clutch has to be rebuilt at 1900 km

Bought my new 1000 max three months ago took into dealer in Kelowna for its first service when the maintance required at 1129 km this is a ten hour service when I dropped it off told them a pinging noise was comeing from the front of the machine when runnning. Of coarse they couldn’t find anything wrong. But still charged me 59.50 plus tax to look at it. And said go to go. We left next day to ride all over kootneys put on 850 km the pinging noise came back took back to dealer with a vid recording of the noise and they know right away what it was at that point so they called back to day saying they got clutch apart and needs one way bearing rollers and ball bearings. So it’s getimg fixed but was told I should have had clutch serviced at 1000km and because it wasn’t done it might not be covered under warranty shouldn’t the clutch been look at when they did the 10 hour service with cost me 698.21 with 179.97 was for a case of 0w40 oil

Hey everyone!

I just became the lucky owner of a 2000 xpedition 325 4x4. I said lucky because it didn’t cost me a dime. I will be combing through the archives searching for any relatable information. If anyone has any tips or otherwise useful information about the quad, please feel free to message me. Happy trails!!

2011 polaris 500

Is engine removal required on a 2011 Polaris 500 to change head gasket? And how likely is is it for the head to be cracked ? Thanks much.

Chattering valves

Iv recently had my valves adjusted at a shop and ever since Iv gotten it back it seems to be chattering alot more than it was prior to adjustment

Round holes in 2018 Outlander Rack

My front and rear racks have two round holes that are 6 1/2" from center. The rack extension is designed to go around these. What are they for? My Polaris has eye bolts on rubber mounts that for in to their holes. I'm not seeing anything on Can Am that indicates a use for these. What do you know??

Black Lug Nuts

Hello, I have the 2017 850 SP Touring with the oem black wheels, IMO the silver lug nuts would look better black, does anyone have a source for oem style black lug nuts?

Zilla tire pressure/maintenance/storage

I’m not technically a new member but have been out of the ATV scene for the past year or so, mainly just using my 570 for plowing. I recently came into a good deal on a set of STI HD3 wheels with 26” Zillas, and a set of rack extenders and led lights for $200. I’m quite happy with the finished product, especially the OEM style switches I found for the lights. While I expected a bumpier ride with these tires, I wasn’t expecting them to be so squirrelly on the gravel roads. What pressures are everyone running their Zillas at?
On another note, are there any grease zerks on these machines besides on the front and rear suspension?
I’m also looking for suggestions on a storage bag to affix to the front rack. Something low profile and zipper less that my rack extenders won’t force me to mount too closely to the headlight pod.

Happy riding
