I have a 2013 sportsman 850 XP HO, I was riding yesterday and I stopped to check a gate, left my wheeler running at an idle , then it just died and would not start back up, got it home and started testing things out, changed relay position and no change, removed plastic to be able to get to fuel pump, when testing for power there is only power when the engine is being turned over ( is this normal) I'm thinking that there must be a secondary circuit that is engaged once the engine fire's ( is that the case) ( is the fuel pump known to go out on these machines) any and all help is greatly appreciated

I'm needing help adjust the carburetor on my 2006 outlaw 500. I rebuilt it because it was leaking and now if i get passed 3/4 throttle it spits and sputters. I have Adjusted the pilot screw and I put the same jets back in it. I'm clueless.

So riding my 2017 outty 650, found a ditch I didn’t see and put it on its side. Turned off right away, found rear left tail light assembly (when looking at it from the back) loose. How does it attach to the bike and plastics? Pics please.

I'm new here, I have a 2013 Polaris sportsman 850 XP HO,

I have to apply the brake handle extra hard or pump front brakes several times too start in gear. Brake light comes on as it should with foot brake. No fluid leakage, any ideas?

My nephew was riding across the field. I hear the motor winding out. Before I could get to him, the machine stopped and backfired. I was not there so this is second hand info from him.....
He was riding for about 7-10 minutes after I heard the high rev...
It cranks but wont start. I am charging the battery now.
I intend to follow the standard / posted trouble shooting, electric, gas , compression.
Anybody have this experience?
Any thoughts on what to look for ?

While crawling out of a mudhole today I heard a pop, at the time after doing a quick look over on the trail everything seemed fine, rode fine the rest of the day. Once I got got back to the truck and loaded the atv on the trailer I noticed oil leaking at the rear end. It looks like the seal where the drive shaft goes in is leaking.

So my question is

Is this just one of those things that happen or is there anything to look for that could cause the seal to blow? I am assuming the noise was from blowing the seal. Never heard another noise out of the ordinary the rest of the day.

Hello. My names Chris. I just bought a 2014 Polaris Sportsman 850 h.o.. I've ridden it 3 times. The first time out on the trails the power steering light came on, then after shutdown it wont restart. It just clicks. I took it back to the dealership and they said it was the battery. They put a brand new battery in it yesterday. I went riding yesterday with no issues. Today I rode it one block to a friends house and the power steering light came on again. After I parked I went to start it again and it just clicks. Same issue. Needless to say I am more than frustrated at this point having just paid my left testicle to get this machine! The dealer is closed today but it will be going back there first thing tomorrow. What is the issue so I can walk in there with some knowledge and not get handed back the same brokedown P.O.S. machine?! Thank you for your help!!

I have searched and searched I can not find Halo lights for my sportsman 850 sp 2018. Please I hope someone on here can point me in the right direction.
