Outlander Max ?s

I am considering purchasing a Max. I currently have a newer Grizzly 708 SE. It has plenty of power, but occasionally I need another seat.
I am new to CanAm. The heat on the left side won't bother me, I have a prosthetic leg.
There is a good deal on a 17 570 Max at my dealer. I am a bit concerned if it has enough power. It has the same power as my Grizz, but weighs more and when packing two large adults it seems I might want at least a 650?
I also need the best fuel range. I live in NE NV and routinely ride 125+ miles. I will carry at least a 2g or a 4g Rotopak.
Any Max experiences are appreciated!

1000 CVT cover bolt spinning

I was removing my CVT cover when I found one bolt just spins and doesn't come out. The nut that is molded into the back casing is spinning with the bolt. I had to grid the head off the bolt to remove the cover.

My question is... how important is it to have all the bolts in. This one happens to be at the top right corner. I would have to continue grinding to remove the bolt and nut, and then install a longer bolt and nut. I don't want to make my problem worse and damage my case in any way.

2016 Polaris Sportsman 570 – no brakes

Hey guys / gals! First post here. I have a 570 Sportsman and was recently trail riding when both brake systems failed. I have no fluid leaking but absolutely no front or rear brakes. If it was a master cylinder I’m sure I’d have some sort of brakes still. Any ideas? Thanks!

Where can I get 12v for lights?

Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but I'm VERY green to these machines. I own a 2004.5 Sportsman and I'd like to add a couple LED's for plowing in the winter (I know...it was 92 yesterday but I'm a planner). Is there a fuse block where I can find a good 12v to tap into? Or should I wire any extraneous accessories I put on right to the battery? I can do either, just figured tapping into a fuse block would be better. I've looked around and can't seem to find any fuses at all, actually.

Help the FNG please.

Newer Outty is slower than older Outty

Hello, I have a 2016 Outty Xt 1000 with approx. 37 hrs and my new 2017 Outty Xt-p 1000 with approx 13 hrs now. I did the break in on the 17 and all is good, but there seems to be a noticeable top end difference between the two bikes right now. Going wide open on the 17 XT-P down the beach and had a very hard time getting her to break 69 mph, I get on my 16 XT and easily crest 75 mph down the beach with more to go. I dont ride my bikes wide open high speed like that , but its fun once in awhile to stretch these 1000's legs. Now, im not sure if the 17 xt-p is "tight" from break in period or what, but on the top end seems a bit more laggy than my 16 xt. I have the performance keys in both bikes, just seems the 16 xt has a tad more grunt. Any input appreciated!!!

Denali plow semi-technical question

Put my plow together last night.

There are two bolts that hold the plow at a certain angle. You get three holes to put the bolts in to change the angle. I put them where the instructions suggested but not sure if it's the best spot. Where the plow will be used sees an average of 175 to 200" a year.

Outlander 800,2013

I've got a outlander 800 that is running weak, poor acceleration, top speed bout 26. I've checked error code: no active codes, compression 150-160, plugs look ok, air filter-ok, no messages on display, ran it with the muffler off- no difference. Any advise on what else to check or what it could be? TIA
