2019 Outlander XMR 1000

Hey All!

New to the site but not to the game. Just sold my 2015 Mav XMR and ordered a 2019 Outlander XMR. I know the 1000 is on the MAX frame and according to specs, it says the total length is 97". I guess my question is, will it fit in my long box F450 with the tailgate up and not smashing my rear window lol. I've done my best to search pics and threads but can't find an easy answer. I know overall length is based on bumper to bumper and I'm hoping the rear bumper will overhang my tailgate.

Thanks!
Trev

Low gear

Couple questions 😀 how fast should you be going in low gear until you switch to high? And also what's the best type of gas to use in the sportsman 570?

Winch

Looking for tips and tricks! Which are the best winch and why? What breaks most often? Any true story to share? Thanks!

My 2014 650 XMR. Mods so far include 6" SATV lift, 29.5 x 10 Terminator, color matched wheels, light bar, green rock lights, snorkel extension risers. Has been an awesome machine.

850 front diff. In a 570?

Can i put a front differential from a 850 in my 570? mine has less than 300 mile on it and the input shaft wobbles pretty good. I was thinking a 850 diff. might be a little more robust. just curious!

RPMs on Sportsman 450

Is there a general rule of thumb for safe rpms for certain driving speeds? For example 20 mph - 2000 rpms....30 mph 3000 rpms or does it depend on the make and model or engine size? My 2007 currently idles at its best at 1650 rpms and at 20 mph it runs at 4000 rpms. Do I have any need to worry?
