Ive got a 425 magnum 4x4 and it does great in high and low. But when i put it in reverse it just bogs down and barley goes anywhere, its like its not completely engaging and it wont engage hardly.
Need help please!!!
Dad was fixing my quad and thought that he was drawing gearbox oil on quad . Took out spring loaded plug at bottom of stator cover, oil came out. Replaced the plug the continued to take out the plastic grey plug from middle of stator cover and put some oil in it until I came up and stopped everything. What has he now wrecked or what do I need to do to fix what he has done that was not the gear box at all!!! Please any help would be greatly appreciated

2000 Sportsman 500 Overheating
Hello Gentlemen!
This is my first post on the site and I have a question I’m hoping you all could help me with! I have a 2000 sportsman 500 my dad bought new and it’s been a good machine on the farm and all of a sudden the fan hasn’t been coming on lately. My dad started it up the other day and ran it for a few minutes and it over heated in no time. I jumped the fan to the battery and it runs good but doesn’t come on when it gets up to temp, so I replaced the temp sensor in the radiator thinking the sensor was bad and that didn’t solve the problem. I then pull the cover on the water pump thinking the impeller or bearing went on me and that all seems to be in good working order also.... so what’s should I check next? It just seems like I’m getting a circulation issue and the hot coolant isn’t circulating through the radiator and across the sensor to engerize the fan. What is your guys take on this?
Thanks you for your time and help!

Hello from Monmouth, OR
Hello,
I recently purchased a 2001 Trailblazer 250 for something to get around on. I have Multiple Sclerosis and didn't want something too burly but I used to build two strokes and my brother had his own shop where he had a 7mm stroker 400 that ran hard. His shop was Mac Racing. He is doing some work again under the name 2Mac Racing, we are working together. It is nice to be here.

Xmr problems
Hey guys this is my first can am bike. I have to say I love it. It has 30” tires that are rock hard with no air. My trail is pretty rocky and the problem I’m have is the front fenders are cracking by the front rack mount. I had a crack in the frame under the seat which I fixed with some welding and bracing. That seemed to fix it. But yesterday I was on it again and the fenders are still cracking. Are there any other spots on the frame to check for breaking? What could be causing this other than a broken frame allowing the bike to twist out of tolerance?
2004 sportsman 400 solenoid help
I bought a new starter and it came with a new solenoid so I put it on and I'm not getting any power to the other side of it that goes to the starter. So i took it off and put the old one back on that I know works and the same thing is happening. The solenoid only has three prongs on it, two big and one little. When I jump the top big prong to the one little the bottom one that goes to the starter clicks. Am I missing something or wired wrong?
