What is the mildest slip on exhaust? I want to get a tuner and slip on to cool the bike down but don’t want it real loud.

05 sportsman 500 tranny issue

Hi everyone. The other day I went and bought a 2005 Polaris Sportsman 500 carb model. (2,000 miles) I bought it because the owner said it needed a transmission. I took the transmission out and Cracked the Case.
Can anyone help me figure out what is wrong inside the transmission?
When I tried to drive the quad around the yard only one rear wheel was spinning. When it took the rear axles out i noticed that 1 Axel was completely stripped so that was the issue with one wheel spinning.
But then when I try and shift it it feels strange not like it should shift.
Another thing I noticed was that someone was already digging around inside the transmission before me.
My issue is should I buy and you transmission or is this one okay?

Hi everyone, name is Mike and I'm 54 years old. Been married for 31 years to my beautiful wife Deborah, have 2 kids; Andrea who is 30 and Kyle is 28. Have 3 grand kids; Alecia 8, John 5 and Victor who is just 3 weeks old. Served in the military for 27 years (Air Force and Army) before being medically released in 2008 and just retired from the public service after 34 years combined time. Now we are 100% retired.

My wife and I just bought our first ATV, a 2018 Outlander MAX XT 850 (Intense Red), and should take possession next Tuesday. Also added on a set of heated hand grips & throttle lever, the large trunk box, high windshield and front 6" rack. Now we can't wait to hit some trails!

Thanks for listening and I can't wait to participate in some of the threads.

2018 outlander 4×4 not working

So I have a 2018 outlander 570 max DPS, and as of today the 4x4 will not engage, no light and with just the key on I cannot hear the actuator working.

I disconnected the connector to the actuator next to the dip stick, and put it back in and all the fuses seem to be fine. Earlier in the day playing in a puddle it did not engage but after a min or so I looked down and the light was on....i just shrugged it off. Now however it really inst working, any thoughts before it goes to the dealer?

If it is important the bike has 20 hours and 300 miles.

2004 Polaris 330 Magnum

Hey guys, i just joined the forums, and just recently adopted a 2004 polaris 330 mag, my mom traded her old snowmobile for this ATV, stating it ran fine when they went to pick it up (Plastics and the whole machine + tires are like new condition + ownership). Later when they got it home they went to use it and they said it sounded like a bag of hammers (metal on metal) the atv shifts into gears and moves, then they turned it off. With a fit of shame they just handed it over to me excepting they got ripped off. I havent owned an atv, or dirt bike at all throughout my life, ive only done carb cleanings when it comes to small engine stuff. I have a job where all i do is electrical mechanical repairs, and some hydraulic, so i think i could tackle this myself. If this needs a new engine, is it worth ordering a used one off ebay and attempting the repair myself (consider what the machine is even worth? maybe 2300$? If there is anyone on here with experience with these 330 mags, since i havent seen the machine yet myself, what would be the first few things you would check? is it full of oil ? is there metal in the oil? are there parts of the belt/transmission that could make a metal noise aswell?


Sorry for all the questions, just want to get a solid idea of what to do when i go check the machine out. Thanks in advance.
