Is the plastic battery cover really necessary?

As far as I can tell it seems to do nothing. When I went to replace my original battery it was still very dirty/muddy on top of the battery and around the terminals. I'm debating just replacing the strap to hold the battery down and leaving that cover off.

Any thoughts?

When Confederate Motorcycles changed its name to Curtiss — in honor of Glen Curtiss, the inventor of the V-twin engine — the company pledged to make only electric motorcycles. Curtiss did manage to sneak out 35 examples of the V-twin Warhawk last year, based on the Confederate P-51, but that really was the last of the ICE line. Curtiss has now opened the electric account with its Zeus prototype motorcycle, a battery-powered two-wheeler that aims "to future-proof the all-American hot

Wicked YXZ: Modded Mondays

To be perfectly honest, we’re not sure there’s a whole lot of “YXZ” left on this thing beyond the body plastics. From what we can tell, this is a stretched, slammed, purpose built UTV with a completely custom chassis designed to go incredibly fast in a straight line. won’t engage starter

I installed a winch on my 2006 800 Outlander Max. When I hooked the battery up the positive cable made contact with the frame for a moment and sparked. I finished hooking everything up and checked the winch, it worked perfectly. Then I went to start the unit, everything came on as usual, the fuel pump pressured up, I hit the start button and nothing! The starter doesn't do anything, I have checked the front and rear fuses and I haven't a clue whats wrong. Any ideas?

Stock shocks backing off by themselves?

I had all my garbage stock shocks maxed out last fall. I spent a day bashing the crap out of my skids and a arms. So as I’m inspecting the damage I notice all 4 corners are at their softest settings! Anyone have this happen to them?
