PIDD unable to configure

Rookie here so I apologize now if I’m repeating a post.

So I tried to update the PIDD on my Sportsman 850 SP with the latest update. Everything looked great til about tens after rebooting when the “Unable to Configure. Please contact Dealer” message popped up and it covers half the screen basically making it worthless. Is there something I can do to fix this or do I need to contact my local dealer? Any help is much appreciated!

Spark

I have a 98 Polaris Sportsman 500 and I don't have any spark at the plug. I turned the engine over and used a test light to see if there was any power coming from the stator and I did not detect any. Can a dealer check the stator to see if it is good off the engine? I just purchased this machine knowing it was a fixer but haven't been able to figure the lack of spark yet. I would appreciate any suggestions on how to trouble shoot the electrical system.

2018 XMR 850 Melting light assembly

So I was driving my 4wheeler today for a couple of hours. When i stopped I noticed that the plastic at the edge of the rear light assembly had melted the plastic housing and clip close to the storage box. I purchased the bike new in February will they warranty this?

2012 850 sportsman. No 4wd

My 4wd isn't working. The dash doesn't show that I'm in 4wd. I am wondering if this is the switch and how do I test it? Please speak slowly and loudly. Hehe. Also, my 4wheeler spent the night underwater this past winter after encountering some faulty ice.

Need help again 😞 clicking/poping noise and over heat issue

Hello everyone. I have 2 issues going on here.

First issue here is went out for a ride yesterday everything was good. End of the ride all my coolant leaks out of the res from overheating... First question how often am i suposed to see cooant move threw the overflow hose? Because everytime thr machine warms up i can see the fluid moving then the fan comes on and it moves the other way. The whole ride the fluid is usually moving back and forth. Is it possoble bad rad cap??

Next issue im getting a popping/clicking noise from the front. Doesnt happe all thr timr somtimes it will do it continually for 20min then thr noise will disapear for half hour then come back.. I checked everything up front it looks tight. I herd the noise before but i out bigger tires and spacer up from then instantly thr noise got louder and more often.. Im thining its the cv joints.. How do i check them? Also the noise stays the same doesnt matter if its in 4 wheel drive or not and 4lock still works fine

Thank you in advance everyone for you help

Renegade 1000xxc Pricing

Hello all, about to go shopping for my first can am, 2018 Renegade XXC triple black. I am curious what everyone has been able to negotiate off of MSRP on these? Would like to know what wiggle room the dealer has. Thanks!

question on your 4X4 & ADC icons

Heres my question's
While switch is in 4X4 ADC mode
Does your Dash icon show Both 4x4 and ADC?
Does the ADC icon disappear while on the throttle?
Does the 4X4 icon disappear while the ADC icon is on?

I seem to recall that while in 4X4 ADC mode BOTH the ADC & 4X4 icons are BOTH on.
But this weekend I noticed while in 4X4 ADC only one or the other icon was on.
The 4x4 icon disappears when the ADC kicks in( off the throttle)
The ADC icon disappears when your touching the throttle

I have a 2015 850 .ADC is the front gear case,Does NOT have the separate ADC reservoir

Jarrod McClure Takes Home X-Factor Whitetails GNCC Win

The weather facing round six of the 2018 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series, an AMA National Championship, was a huge turn around from the inaugural event held at X-Factor Whitetails Hunting Ranch in Peru, Indiana last season. While rain happened to fall during the 10 a.m. event, it set the stage for prime racing conditions during the 1 p.m. pro ATV race. The drying wind and intermittent sunshine provided dry fields, which kicked up dust adding another element to what seemed like a typical GNCC style course.
