I bought a Kimpex replacement battery for my Sportsman 570. There were no instructions with the battery and the dealer is closed on the weekend. I need the battery for tomorrow morning so I'm hoping to get some advice!

It's a YTX14AH-BS. So far I have added the acid, loosely placed the cap on and let it sit for about 45 minutes. I plan on letting it sit 2 hours total. My major concern is charging it. I have a 1 amp trickle charger and the instructions for the charger say a 14.7 Ampere Hour battery should charge for 15 to 18 hours. That seems rather excessive! Most videos online say 5 to 10 hours. What do you guys think?

From the start there seems to a split second lag that will snap your neck if your not expecting it...is that common with these machines? After your rolling it’s instant but just the starts has me asking this question. Thanks!

Hey, just picked up 2018 can am ds 250. Brought it home for a first ride and the throttle only goes in about 1/4 inch and yes I adjusted the screw out so it has maximum travel and the idle was super high, so adjusted the idle screw to try and turn it down, but it did nothing. Now I am stuck with a new machine with a high idle, I can get it into gear but it engages hard because of idle. Did I throw a code and that is why the idle is not adjusting?

Also in regards to the throttle, I keep reading about a throttle slide spacer limiting the throttle from full travel, does anyone know how to remove this?

My 4wd is only engaging sometimes, and its very slow. Also sometimes it engages with the override pressed while in 2wd.

I noticed my speedo is also boucing around and acting goofy intermittantly. I read somewhere (IIRC) that both the speedo and hubs use the same ground? Could this be the issue?

I recently got a 1998 Polaris Magnum 425 4x4 and am looking to do an oil change. The manual says to use oil Polaris oil part # 2871271. I can't find any info on this oil. What oil can I use?

Also what transmission oil can I use?

This is my first belt driven atv. How do you know when it time to change the belt. Mine seems to be a little sluggish now. Engine is fine, it’s more acceleration that I’m missing I think.

Atv sat up for a while, went to take it out for a ride and it wouldn’t move. When I put it into get I noticed the drive shafts spin (front and back) but wouldn’t even budge. Got a buddy to push it while in gear and heard some clinking. Hoping some one can help with my problem. Really not wanting to go to the dealer and spend a arm and a leg.
