Hello group,

My Wife and I are interested in picking up a new 2-up, ATV. I've been eyeballing a Sportsman 570.

I figure if we find something we like, I'll put a little down and finance. As of yet, I have not asked for any quotes. Not ready to open the dealership flood of pings just yet. Rather, would like a little insight, since I've never purchased an ATV before. Especially going through a motorcycle dealership, etc.

Everywhere I look online, I see MSRP prices quoted. What's the general take here?

- Folks should expect $1K+ off of MSRP? More? (Just trying understand the going rate).
- The dealership will try to add doc fees and other fees? Try to roll-in an extended warranty?

If it's the same routine as a car, ok, no worries. I can handle the folks in the back room (Finance) just fine.

Would appreciate any of your insight from a recent purchase.

I have a 2015 outlander xmr 1000 with 116 hours and 462 miles on it. The last service I had all fluids changed on February 2017 with 199 miles on it. I have never had the values checked or adjusted....In a few weeks I’m taking it in for another service. My questions are: 1) should I just get the oil changed or should I get all fluids changed (gearbox, diffs, etc)? ....2) should I get the values checked/adjusted at the same time? .....my dealer said that they don’t adjust values very often because they aren’t usually out of spec......any advice on what to do next service will be greatly appreciated.

The winch relay on my 2997 Sportsman 500 EFI seems to have failed. Winch will release cable but not draw it in.

Have the front cargo tray off ... but the gas tank cowl is blocking access to the relay. How do I get it released enough to remive and replace the relay?

I picked up my new 1k today , already have the wheels off , putting new tires on tommorow , have a bunch of stuff to go on it , will post a couple pics when things get done.

So the story I bought a 2015 sportsman ETX from local Honda/Polaris dealer... I got into fiance trouble, I filed chapter 7. Capitol One has the title won't release it to me... everyone I talk to gives me the run around. So I told them okay then you don't want it, you're not picking it up, you're telling me just keep it? Then can I get the title, nope, they want me to jump through hoops and everyone I talk to there just tells me to talk to someone else? Everyone seems clueless as to what to do they won't talk much but they won't give me the title??? Only things I have gotten outta them they don't bother with ATV collect after bankruptcy, they don't want it, its mine now enjoy, but they won't give me a title.

That said, IF I can't get the title... what then?? What's this thing worth it only has around 300 miles, great shape, winch was only used 1 time. It has mirrors, saddle bag, nice ATV but I assumed it was gone so I sold my trailer because my truck went back. Its just sitting in my yard hasn't be started in a year.

Just about done rebuilding this scrambler, I looked at the gear case oil and it’s purple and milky, milky to me means that it has water in it and the previous owner didn’t have a vent line hooked up, been looking or this specific scrambler for tips online for what type of fluid and how much and I keep running into different machines, any help would be great. Thx

Just about done rebuilding this scrambler, I looked at the gear case oil and it’s purple and milky, milky to me means that it has water in it and the previous owner didn’t have a vent line hooked up, been looking or this specific scrambler for tips online for what type of fluid and how much and I keep running into different machines, any help would be great. Last time i rode many 2 months ago it started right up like always and ran great went out today and it turns over but will not start, it has a full tank of gas, no codes pop up ? checked the spark plugs and i have spark, I checked all fuses and they are fine so it must not be getting fuel ? or is it some other electrical thing ?
