Anybody have any reviews on a Superwinch winch?? Looking at getting a 3000lb one. Found a good deal and was wondering if the price fits the performance.
Battery strap bolt size.
I'll be putting my battery back in soon and the bike is 300km away from me, does anybody know off hand what size wrench for the 2002 Sportsman 700 battery strap? Thanks in advance. m.breen.

Poll: How Many US States Have You Ridden an ATV or UTV in?Unless you’ve moved around a lot, it’s very likely the number of US states you’ve ridden in is limited to your general region. Not everyone has the time, money and flexibility to plan a cross country adventure to go experience a new riding destination. That being said, if you sat down and counted up all the different […] more
Help me be my Father-In-Laws hero!!
First time here and first time working on these machines. I am working on my Father-in-laws 2000 Polaris Sportsman 500. The issue is that the machine pull starts and runs fine but nothing works electrically. I have changed the control switch, the voltage regulator rectifier, and inspected the main breaker (which has power running through it and looks fine). Alternator is making 14 volts so it is making enough power. Also installed a new battery. Does anyone have any insight as I am completely lost on what to look at next.
2015 vs 2018 differences?
I have a chance to get a new 2015 xp 1000 at a discount and just want to know what the differences are between it and a 2018? Any reason not to get it? It is a limited edition as well discounted to $9200.
Sportsman 400 with a lone plug under dash
I just acquired a 2004 Sportsman 400 (late model I believe) that has a lone white plug with 3 connector pins in it that is loose behind the speedo dash. By loose I mean it is not connected to anything (and its full of gunk actually so not sure i could connect it to anything). The machine runs fine, less a blinking battery and speedo needle which I hope is going to be fixed with the new $20 voltage regulator I ordered.
Can anyone tell me what the loose white plug might be for and if I should be looking for it to be connected to something? I attached a pic for reference.
Thanks for the help!

Worth it?
I've got a guy I know that is wanting payoff of $4600 for a 2014 renegade 1000. He says theirs mechanically nothing wrong with it just needs some paint stuff done on it. Has 30" silverbacks, snorkel, rad relocation, hmf exhaust, programmer, etc. I've already been approved to buy it just wanted to get second opinions for I made a move. Seems like a dang good deal to me honestly but I could be wrong. What do you guys think?

Outlander 650 Electrical problem (starter)?
My 650 does not want to turnover. I'm a 62 year old guy that uses it for hauling Maple syrup. No trail riding. Light duty.
When I hit the start button the engine piston does one or two revolutions and then it stops. If I try again immediately it does nothing. I need to wait 20 minutes before I push the button and it will make a revolution or two and then it stops again. Lights are bright, winch works fine, volt meter shows over 12 volts. I put on a charger for 6 hours and tried again with no luck. I loaded on trailer and headed for home which is 80 miles. I stopped on the way home and filled truck up with gas and then I also filled the 650 as it was about 1/3rd full only. Upon arriving home I turned the key on and hit the starter button and it fired right up. Also started the 25 following times. I'm just afraid of getting stranded a couple of miles in with no one around to help me. Thankfully this time there was a guy available to tow me out. I stopped at my Canam dealer and they told me they couldn't help me until it fails again.
Anybody else ever experience this?
Thanks Trapper2
