Upgrade to a RZR Speedo?

Has anyone ever swapped out a RZR Speedo in place of our stock one?

id like to possibly try it, i hate that we cant see the engine temp in our stock readout. there seems to be a provision in the system for one, as you can select F or C, but three is not temperature info displayed anywhere. I was wondering if i bought a RZR gauge, and plugged it in, if i would be able to see the engine temp, as they can in the RZR.

98 Polaris 500 hole in head down spark plug hole

I'm gonna keep this short. I have a 98 Polaris 500. Overheated for 1/2 mile, got home, primary clutch sheave cracked, oil line burst, head gasket blew and all types of horror.

Pulled the head installed new gasket and primary and i ran it at idle for 15 secs and the exhaust was smoking terribly and shut it down. I went to remove the spark plug and noticed this hole. Is this normal?

Anyone know of a good fitting seat with storage for the 2018 1000 outlanders? I’m not too impressed with what can am offers. Seems like I can get storage or a seat but not both.

2 inch receiver hitch for 570 Sportsman

I know this has been asked before. Where can i get a 2 inch receiver for my 2015 Sportsman 570. Some have replied that you dont need such a big receiver for this machine as it is only rated for a 1200 lbs trailer. Well this isnt about a 1200 lbs trailer. Its about hitch accessories. please see what I have posted below. And there are many more than this available. Thank you in advance for the help.

Low battery limp home msg

I recently bought a 2009 Renegade 800, 2300km (1600miles), had it serviced at Can Am dealership. Quad checked out well, dealer said in good shape. I had a winch installed. Today we were riding in the snow, I needed to use the winch (I live in Canada). I had the lights on as well as the hand grip and thumb warmers on. As soon as I winched my buddy out of deep, fresh snow, I got a “low battery, limp home” warning on the display. I returned to my truck and loaded my quad. When I got home the quad started and the message was gone. I’ve been told that I should have turned off the lights and warmers before using the winch and that I should have increased the engine rpm when the winch was pulling. I’m going to get a portable boaster so I can tur the quad off while on the trail if this happens again. Has anyone else experienced this? The battery is back to normal so I think is is charging when riding.

Thanks for any advice you might have.

Picking up my new bike tomorrow… any advice?

Hey guys,

I'm picking up my 2018 Outlander 850 MAX XT-P tomorrow.

This is the first quad I've ever owned but I've ridden friends/families machines my whole life and have always owned dirt bikes/snowmobiles.

I live in the Northwest Territories of Canada where temps can reach -40 before windchill... I don't know how much I will be planning on riding the bike in those temps but a battery blanket/tender and some sort of block heater are going to be some of my first upgrades.

The only accessory I added from the dealer is the rad relocate kit as the muskeg up here can overheat your engine pretty quick (in the summer months). I plan on adding a rifle boot or grips in the near future ... not sure if I wanna get the BRP one as it is quite pricy.

Any noobie tips or tricks I should know about?

Thanks
