It just started leaking. Not bad, but there is a small puddle on the floor when it sits over night.
Is there normally a groove wore into the pinion shaft making the new seals leak right away?
If so, do I have to replace the shaft or is there a sleeve that I can buy that goes on the shaft?
If I have to replace the shaft, how is do I get the thing out?
I can move the shaft back and forth just a little, little bit. So I'm guessing the bearings are fine.
This seal leak seems to be a common problem? Why hasn't something been done about it?
I do not go muddin' i use the quad a lot for farm use, it's always running somewhere.
Hey all, I've got an ACE and just bought a 570 Big Boss. What implements are you all using to clean the radiators out in these things? I don't mean what chemical, but has anyone found that ONE nozzle or something that really just works well?
Also, I can't seem to find any forums specific to the 6x6's. Can anyone point me to one, or does everyone just post in here?
Cheers,
Donovan
I have a 2013 Maverick, and for some reason when I put it on H and try to go, the motor shuts down. Could it be a clutch or belt problem? I notice that the shifter is hard to shift into gears.
Hey All
I am picking up this machine on Monday. I have never snorkeled anything and am wondering how. I understand the principal of keeping water out of the intake and other areas but have not done it. Any thoughts

I have the 2017 450L repair manual and it's missing some info that I am searching for.
I was told that the 2015/2016 manual had the complete specifications for the front and rear suspension springs. Can you PLEASE post a picture/copy of that page for me? I'm trying to get the specs for the regular 1up vs. the Max 2up.
I recently sold my 2004 Outlander 400 and picked up my new 850 Max. I hope the new one will be as good to me as the old one.
I have a 2004 Predator and the Front Brakes drag A LOT.
Does anyone know a good fix for this?
I have a 2004.5 sportsman 400 a quick history bike would randomly turn off while riding then it would start back up. Randomly it would lose spark and it would take a few tries for it to actually spark and start up. I have replaced everything under the sun that has to do with spark. I havnt replaced the computer on it do to already spending a bunch on all the other parts. Could the computer be the problem? I get no spark by key or by the pull start. And yes I checked the kill switch lol
IS the one on the left the drain and the right is the fill?
If so, how the heck do you drain without it just pouring all over the metal frame plate?
Never mind that you have to remove the skid to access.
Thanks.
