New to can-am and this forum, not new to atv's.

I just bought a 2018 Renegade X MR 1000

Can't wait to get this thing out on the trails and in the mud.

08 sportsman 500 efi no power

Alright I have a 08 sportsman 500 efi ho, and I was installing a aftermarket winch in it. I had everything installed and all the wiring ran. I was looking for a good power wire to spice in the switch power wire. I hooked up the battery and turned the key on. Then I used a test light to check the 12v accessory port. As soon as I made contact with my test light it sparked and I loss all power. Now I don't get any power to the machine at all. I checked the four fuses in the front of the machine and replaced one because it was dirty and questionable. Still no power and I disconnected the battery and reconnected still nothing. I just got this machine and I'm not very familiar with it. Also I'm pretty sure this is where I messed up when I checked the accessory port I had my test light attached to the negative side of the battery. So I know that I screwed up, but if anyone has any idea what I fried it would be really appreciated if you could help me out.

26.5/10/14 tires

I am thinking about getting new tires and like the super atv terminators. Will the 26.5/10/14 size be ok to use on the front and rear.
Thanks

cv parts

does anyone know where I can get the large ring spring that goes into the plunger of the rear axle of a 2013 Polaris sportsman 400.

New Guy Here.

Hi Guys, New guy to the forum. Not new to Brp tho. So lets get into it. Me and my wife are looking into a new quad. Our old Yamaha 450 is about to die and is on its last string. Been and awesome machine 2005 with 22,000 hard Km. Long story short, we are looking at a Outlander 850 or 1000Xt. machine will see some trail riding, mud ie (max 2.5 feet) at out hunt camp. Biggest one of all plow our 625 foot driveway that's 25 feet wide. will also be running tracks in the winter. Ive been going back and forth on which to pull the trigger on for the past 4 months. I can get a used 2017 850 for around 11K with 200Km from a buddy. thing is im kinda a power junkie but the price is right with the 850. my question is will i regret not getting the 1000 with what i intend to do with the machine, or do i jump on my buddies machine and call it a day? Is there that much of a difference between the two machine?
