What's up guys. Finally got the ole Trail Boss back up and running. I have a quick question on the pull start recoil. I went to junk yard and pulled of a old housing that holds the recoil spring and pulley. My spring was shot on mine. After putting it on and of course lots of WD 40 the spring retracts really good. Seems to be in good shape. Problem is if I tighten up the cover on the outside of housing the rope will not retract. But if I loosen the small screws on cover it retracts just fine. Any thoughts?
