Venture to almost any public riding area immediately after a holiday weekend and you’re likely to find piles of trash, water bottles and empty beer cans left behind. In high trafficked areas like Glamis, California, the amount of refuse left behind is disturbing. While this behavior is detestable and no doubt a significant factor in the closing […] more

6” lift

Hey guys, I’m new to this forum. I have a 2016 renegade 1000xmr and I’m wanting to do the 6” super atv lift. I was wondering if that lift kit will work with my atv. It doesn’t say it’s for the xmr renegade but I’m pretty sure the normal renegade is basically the same thing. And does anyone have any experience with this lift? Thanks

Backrest

Looked threw old posts but a little confused, wondering if any body with a normal sportsman 570 non 2 up model has gotten the lock and ride back rest and if it works on the non 2 up model, according to the polaris website it says it will fit. Do you need the rear rack extenders on? Anyone know any differently?

I just need help, please. #noobtoquads

So I have a Polaris Phoenix 200 ATV and I need lots of help. I bought this old thing for a few hundred bucks at a garage sale knowing nothing about quads. No manual. I need to know these things:

Oil filter type and size
Type of oil

And, the left front wheel doesn't move, I am assuming it is due to the disc brake, but I can't find out why. Also, there is no ignition switch, so I bought a new ignition switch off of a store, but have no idea how to install it. Please help. I can send pics of problems if anyone is willing to help me. Thank you

2008 Outlander 800 XT start issue

On my 2008 Outlander 800, after the machine sits a while, when I turn the key to the on position, the dash display lights up and flickers, and I do not get the fuel pump noise like usual. If I try to start it at this point it’ll either not start, or start and run erratically. If I turn the key off and the right back on, the dash display comes on properly, the fuel pump comes on, and it starts and runs fine. It only seems to do it after it sits awhile. All the fuses seem to be good and I made sure the relays were pushed in good. Could a relay be going bad? Any ideas?

Rat RZR: Modded Mondays

Thats one head turning shop car!

If we didn’t know better, we might have expected to see Cruella Deville behind the wheel of this rat rod Polaris RZR complete with white wall tires. While that front grill looks a little out of place, in the world of head turning “shop cars” GMZ can consider this mission accomplished.

Maiden Voyage a success

Took the wife out to Lake Murray atv Park in Oklahoma yesterday for her first ride. She has a 2017 Sportsman 570 and I have a 2017 Sportsman 850.

Only rode for a couple hours, put about 8 miles on the bikes. She got stuck 1 time, between a rock and a hard place, three wheeled it in a few places, but all in all she did well for her first ride!

Both bikes performed perfectly with no mechanical issues, leaks, or other problems.

We were the only 2 out there on the trails which was nice for a teaching session. Didn’t have to worry about traffic.

I’d say it was a great first ride together and look forward to many more.

RJWC Dual Quiet Core Install

I just installed the quiet cores for dual exhaust on 17'.

Holy crap do these things work amazingly well. I want to say the bike is back to stock decibel level, but still sounds a bit meaner. The sound of the exhaust without the quiet cores began to give me ear fatigue as well as take away from me jamming my music.

Now I have both of the best world's with the badass look/performance of the exhaust and the (near) sound of a stock bike. Def recommend.
