Just got back from a great weekend of riding at muddy bottoms atv park in LA. Had a great time but having a couple problems with her. It is a 2017 XMR 570.
First problem is that when in deep mud it just kinda starts sputtering and then dies. Wont do anything until i got pulled out, no lights come on, no fan, no starter, no nothing. I am taking it in tomorrow for some other problems but would like to know if anyone else has had this problem. i don't think they have a mud pit out back to test the problem lol.
Second problem was the shifter just broke, the shifter base is plastic and it just tore in 2, now there was a zip tie on it and it has had trouble going into L from day one so i don't know if they broke it during assembly and figured a zip tie would work or what. I put larger zip ties on it and was able to make the weekend just leaving it in low and never taking it out.
3rd problem is the melting rear plastics but after reading another thread on that i guess that is something im going to have to tackle myself lol
Blowing Up Berms in Slow Motion + VideoEveryone likes to punch the throttle and see how much roost they can kick up. We’re not sure if it’s just the slow motion that makes this look crazy, but we’re thinking it’d be pretty tough to beat this roost from Doug Eichner.

Forget Bigfoot, These Woods Are Inhabited With Dinosaurs + VideoThis isn’t the first T-rex sighting we’ve experienced in recent months. After sharing a video last fall of a pack of dinosaurs “devouring” a side by side in the dunes, we’ve seen these quirky costumes popping up on snowmobiles, motorcycles and personal watercraft. We’ve got to admit, it would be pretty funny to ride up […]

MX Zilla: Modded MondaysThis is one of the cleanest and well kept LT500R Quadzilla’s we’ve seen in a while. Dubbed “MX Zilla” no expense was spared while restoring this machine and the owner paid significant attention to detail (notice the nickel plated frame). While this is definitely a beautiful machine, we’re not sure it’s quite worth the $10,000 […]

2017 Can-Am Defender HD5 vs. Polaris Ranger 570: By the NumbersThe relationship between Polaris and Can-Am is like trying to describe the relationship between the New York Yankees fans and those of the Boston Red Sox. Yeah, there’s a metric ton of competition, a whole lot of pride and maybe a bit of bad blood. These two powerhouse brands are locked in a horsepower war […]

It’s Like the Bunny Hill For First Time UTV Drivers + VideoWay back when we all first learned to ride, our parents probably limited us to a certain area and made sure we stayed within eye site. We get the idea that this might be the same sort of thing, only for adults who are driving a Side-by-Side for the first time. A post shared by […]
