Totally lost….need a AWD guru….

01 sportsman 500 H.O...

Heres whats going on...

Ive had no 4wd for a long time now, after trying many times myself to fix it i took it to a polaris dealer, and 730 bucks later its STILL screwed up...

New parts...
Armature plates.
Hub Coils.
Sleeves.
Hilliards.
CV axles.
AWD switch...

The front right tire pulls flawlessly going forward. The left tire does nothing. Neither tire will do anything in reverse.

I pulled the plugs off under the "hood" that plugs the handlebar harness into the coils...i have 11.9 volts to both sides, and good grounds on both.

If i shift to reverse i have no volts to them, unless i hit the override, and then, boom, power to both.

I have NO IDEA wtf is going on here. I really need ideas here yall...

Hi, I have a 07 Polaris Sportsman 500 HO X2 I recently purchased and is missing the side panels. Does anyone know where to find some or have some that aren't $150 a piece? thanks

Front Gearcase Oil Confusion.

Hi Everyone, i'm a newbie to the site. I have a 2004 Sportsman 500 HO. I have spent hours going through the threads. I have learned enough reading the threads to give me the confidence to switch from the expensive Polaris fluids to Mobil 1. I'm ready to switch out the front gearcase oil, but a little confused due to the year of my machine. Ive seen some threads that say you cant use the Mobil 1 ATF in the gearbox.

Can anyone confirm that its safe to use the Mobil 1 ATF on my 2004? Thanks in advance for the help guy's. John

New guy from Northwestern PA

Hello.

I purchased a (new) 2018 sportsman 850 sp back in December. It's my first atv, however I have some experience riding a 2004 honda. I picked the 850 because I am a heavier individual and I didn't want the atv to have any trouble with my weight.

I currently have 12 hours and 55 miles on it - it's kind of difficult for me to find legal local places to ride. Also, my mother's husband with the honda wants to ride with me, and the trailer I have is only big enough for one atv (and I don't have a truck) so that doesn't help. So we must trailer my atv to his parents house an hour each way where his atv is stored.

I've done 4 things to it so far other than that it's stock. Next winter I will be added heated hand grips and a plow, other than that I don't have anymore plans for mods.

Wife and I have been out of the quadding lifestyle for about 8 years. Started with a pair of Honda Rubicons and now have a Canam Outlander Max 850 XT. Looking forward to our first ride ASAP. Thanks for adding me to the group.

New 570 EPS modification suggestions

Hello, new to the forum and recently just purchased a 2019 570 EPS sportsman, plan on using it mostly for hunting and riding around farm/hunt club, but also encounter some pretty muddy/wet situations working and riding in duck hunting impoundments, was wondering if there are any accessories or modifications that are a must have for this machine in these conditions? The parts I have already ordered when purchasing the machine are the following: 28x9x12 mega mayhem tires and front and rear Polaris utility metal racks. I am considering a 2 lift for the front and possibly a clutch kit if necessary. Thanks!
