So just curious what some of the differences are between a 2019 sportsman 850 hilifter engine and earlier 850 engines, as far as internal differences? I have to go into an 850 engine, and curious what the differences are. Thanks!
What are the differences (if any) between 2019 and down 850’s engine repair coming

Questions about Suspension and Springs
Hello,
since 1 week i own a Scrambler 1000XP. After a few rides i started to play around with the suspension settings.
Just for my couriosity i wanted to lower the height as much as possible.
But at a certain point the spring looses the pre tension and its not possible to go further down in with the front (backside i didnt test).
I know, these machines arent build for that but i wanted to use the whole thread range if possible.
Then i started to read across the net to find some information about that matter.
There isnt really much but some Elka Suspension but that would be a very expensive solution.
F.e. I found a "Double Spring Kit" for the Polaris RZR 800S which also has the Podium X 2.0 Shocks.
But there is nothing like that for the Scrambler. I thought there would be something similar to the RZR Kit, but no.
(Would the RZR spring kit fit the Scrambler? Are they the same dimensions?)
I did write a email to a guy who makes spring kits, not for the Scrambler in particular but other Polaris Models, and he said if i could tell him the spring
rate that i disire then he could make a double spring kit for me.
I told him that i just want to be able to use the whole range of thread given and maybe slightly stiffer spring.
But it seems that this is not enough information for him as he repeats that he need the rate for Initial and Secondary spring.
So i started to search after some figures i could work with but its really tough for someone who has no experience on this subjekt.
I guess its no option for me as i cant figure out the rates for my self. It just wouldnt make sense.
Another option and maybe the cheapest is to shorten the piston. But as this is irreversible, i would be my last choice.
I hope someone here can help me out with this problem and i´m looking forward to your answers.
Thanks

Sportsman 110 very hard to start
My son has a 2014 sportsman 110 that is very difficult to start (my daughter also has the same 4 wheeler - so been swapping parts to test). It will turn over fine, it has good spark but typically have to spray start fluid into the intake to get it to start. After starting and running for a while it will restart normally.
I have swapped battery, spark plug, fuel injector and what i believe is the fuel filter I also replace the spark plug wire (this i bought new) all other parts i swapped from my daughters hers still starts fine his still will not. what else can i try. thanks

New 570 Sportsman Electrical Question
I have a new 570 Sportsman and was going to put a pigtail harness on the battery to connect my trickle charger. When I saw the location of the battery, I had second thoughts. So, I was wondering if I can use my accessory outlet on the dash pod and just plug in there to charge the battery? Haven't had time to check if that outlet is always hot or key switched. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Polaris Rider from Germany
Hello everybody,
my Name is Thorsten and live in Germany. Since 1 Week i´m a proud owner of a 2017 Scrambler 1000XP.
I´m enjoying riding my machine a lot. I was driving little ATV´s before but nothing comes close to the ride on my machine.
Power development is madness and you need to hold firm to the handlebar :)
Anyways, i hope that i can learn a lot from this forum as i have one or two technical questions for sure.
Thanks
Thorsten

Broke 800 SP Touring??
Wasnt sure which board to post this on as there is no 800 model specific group...
I got stuck yesterday in a mud hole with my wife and I riding. I engaged the 2 different AWD settings and the symbol illuminated on my display however I'm not getting any drive to my front end (best I could tell as the tires didnt spin and I was still stuck) Also to note, the engine when trying to reverse would 'pulse'? instead of giving me full power? I pressed the rev limiter over ride and it seemed to help SOME but still unable to go wide open throttle... Just purchased used 2010 last weekend and it could quite possibly be broke although it wasnt advertised as such :/ Could be something as simple as operator error as I do remember reading to be sure to engage the AWD BEFORE you think you may need it as something to do with the sensors and wheels slipping blah blah blah HELP!! Any one ran in to this issue and was it because my rear wheels were already spinning? Another thing I notice is a slight 'click' as I 'jab' the throttle. Possibly worn front U Joint?

Yesterday marked the start of the 2019 AMSOIL Grand National Cross Country (GNCC) Series presented by Specialized, an AMA National Championship, in Palatka, Florida with the 5th Annual Moose Racing Wild Boar. It was WFR/GBC/Fly Racing/Yamaha’s Walker Fowler coming through the finish line first after the two-hour race.
