New to Polaris and I just got a 2018 1000xp highlifter and was wondering what the common problems and fixes or things to look out for on these machines. I have other brands of quads and every brand has certain common problems or things to keep an eye on. Any thoughts ,suggestions or upgrades would be very appreciated.
2004 ATP Polaris
Looking at a purchase of a 2004 ATP, I believe 330cc. It has a broken crank according to the seller, so I would be in the market for repair parts or running engine. Will any 330 engine from that era work? All I have seen is photos and it looks to be in very good condition. I think I can buy for a few hundred bucks, suggestions?

ADC oil leaking through wires?
I have front diff oil leaking out of my 2007 sportsman 800 X2.
The oil is coming out of "Hole" in the side of ADC coil/magnet. Where the wires come out (Stupid design)
Can I remove magnet/coil somehow. I have the part out. Just cant remove coil from cover????????
Just want to know how to seal inside behind magnet. If possible?

New style of brp fox shock?
So I ordered the Fox podium kit for my 2018 Outlander out of the brp catalogue and when I received them I noticed the rears now come as a dual spring setup. Has anybody else seen this or heard anything about them? Was just curious if this was brp’s solution to sagging springs?

Does anyone have any good ideas of how to remove the two pins that hold the brake pads in place on the rear brake
Newbie with a transmission Question
Hello and thanks for having me on the forum.
I have acquired a 2001? Trail Boss 325 2 x 4 that has been sitting for 8 years. I rebuilt the carb, replaced fuel lines and fuel/reserve switch cleaned tank, changed oil/plugs and put a new battery and it idles and revs decent. the final problems I have are the rear brake and the transmission that goes in forward only.
I tore down the transmission and found a snap ring had slid up on a shaft, and wouldn't let it go in reverse. I put it back in place, everything else looked ok ( as far as I could tell) and put everything back on the ATV. It worked about two times, with grinding when trying to go into forward. On about the third time of going from front to back, the reverse stopped working and wouldn't engage. I'm guessing the ring has slid up again.
I plan on tearing it apart again next weekend, but anyone have any insight into this? It seems awfully tough to get into forward with the grinding.

Upgrade or stiffen 2018 G2L suspension
Question regarding HD shocks for a 2018 G2L.
I am looking to stiffen up the ride on my 2018 570 XT. I was going to do it the right way and upgrade the shocks to HD but the can-am online store leaves the G2L body style out of the fitment for their HD shocks. There is a fox option that will fit the G2L but I am not looking to spend $480.
Here’s the kicker. The 2018 570 Mossy Oak edition(basically a camo XT with extras) has stiffer springs so I know something HD fits but there is no reference at all that I can see.
Any direction would be appreciated.
