OK to run 12’s on the back

I asked this question in a different way on the outlander forum, this might be more clear here on this forum?

IS it OK to run 12's on the back of a 2010 650 XT Max? I want to switch to Maxis Big Horn originals, and I need to go to 12's on the back, which I have no problem with unless someone educates me why I shouldn't?

Thanks!

Front Mount Plow?… & ATV Guru Bumper

Grettings everyone. NOON here.... I am new to the site so I apologize if this was already covered. I have a new to me 2018 570. It came with a cheap 48" belly mount plow. The problem is with my new wheels & tires, the 48" plow dosent cut it when it is angled. I would need at least a 54" to get the snow past my tires when the blade is angled.

And I don't want to keep taking the mount on and off, so I am looking at getting a complete new plow. Moose makes a nice looking system, but it seems there were complaint about the mounting system tweaking and breaking after a while. Seems to need more welds. Warn makes a decent looking system where the frame mount bolts to the front end.. And there is always the glacier mount.

So I have several NOOB questions.

1) Are there advantages / disadvantages to a front mount vs. belly mount?

2) Any one recommended over the other? (Personally they all seem cheap and light........)

3) I want to get the ATV-Guru Python bumper. But it looks like it bolts down low to the frame. Wondering if it will interfere with any of the front mount plows.

Quick question on fitment of tires

Hey guys, on my 17 can am outlander 650 xmr I’ve recently bought the 1.5 inch highlighter spring spacer kit, and I’ve currently got my springs on the tightest setting. I’m wondering if I will be able to fit 32 in silverbacks, I’m pretty sure I can fit 29.5 OL2 but if anyone has any clarification on that it would be appreciated.

Happy holidays and ride on brothers

sorry, another quick tire question – FOR MY OUTLANDER 2010 650XT max

Hello,

OK, it's been so long since I've been here I couldn't figure out a password!!! I have a 2010 Outlander 650 XT Max. I currently have ITP Baja Cross and was going to switch to Maxis Big Horn (original) but the only size I can get for the back is 26 x 12 x12. I currently have 26 x 11 x 12.

Is going from an 11 to a 12 on the back any kind of a problem?

THANKS!!!

Speedometer

I have a 2007 500 outlander XT . I bought it recently . All of it works except speedometer. Is there a troubleshooting procedure I can follow ? I have checked the fuse and most easily spotted ground tested battery cleaned its terminals and all the basic stuff. I just want to see if it's the speedometer or a wiring issue . Hope it's an easy fix those speedometers are not cheap lol. Thanks in advance for all who can help
