XMR two-up seat install question

Ok so I picked up a new outlander two up seat for my 2016 XMR 1000. Question is do I need to remove this piece of plastic I’m pointing to in the pic? Seems like it’s preventing the seat from locking down properly. (Yes I know the bike needs a bath! Lol)

Throttle Issue

My 1997 400 has been working fine yesterday the throttle stopped working - only idle - the slide is working in the Carb but no power.

When the override switch is depressed the throttle works properly in Low and High gear as well as reverse. AS soon as I let go of override it acts like it's running out of gas but will idle fine.

It got pretty hot yesterday working in the woods and the machine was also hot.

Any ideas?

DS 250 Fuse blowing and no start

I have tried to research this and have not found anything with a similar problem to this one. I bought my daughter a 2008 DS250 the person I bought it from had burned up the CDI jump starting it which I do understand is a common issue. I ordered a new CDI for it and plugged it in. For some reason it will not turn over with the start button and if you leave the key on long enough it will blow the indicator lamp fuse. Even if I jump the starting solenoid it still has no fire and will not start. We are hoping to take this to the dunes next weekend and my 9 year old is really hoping I can make this thing run. The other odd thing is the tail light comes on if the handle bar switch is in the off position but as soon as you put it in the run position it turns the tail light off it acts like I got the wrong CDI unit for it but I made certain to order the right OEM part number it is a factory unit not a aftermarket one. Heated Grips

Need opinions on the Can Am heated grips with thumb warmer. Are they worth the money and do they hold up? I've used aftermarket heated grips before and they are hit or miss. Thanks in advance...salute

2018 XMF 570 shocks to stiff

Hi I just purchased a new XMR 570 for the GF to ride. We took it out in the mud and did awesome but now r next trip is to go trail riding. I’m throwing some good trail tires on but didn’t know if I could swap out the shocks with a nother model to ride better. It’s set to full soft and stiff with me riding so I know it’s really stiff on a 125lb girl. Any help would be great

Efi fuse blows at WOT

I posted before about my efi fuse blowing after going thru the wiring and finding nothing shorted. Im starting to think it could be the fuel pump of fuel filter. Machine starts idles ans runs fine until u pin the throttle, then it blows the 20amp efi fuse and obviously stalls. The problem seems to get worse the hotter the machine gets. Any advice or direction is greatly appreciated. I love my polaris dont wanna buy anything else, also dont wanna not be able to ride the way i like.

Rebuild Visco or get torq locker

The visco lok is failing on my ‘16 850 max xt at almost 2700 miles. I’m a trail rider so everything from fire roads to rock crawling to some mud. I do like to run in 4wd a lot and to ride fast. Seems the bike handles better and doesn’t chew up the trails as much. What does the hive mind think is the better option? Rebuilding the visco or going aftermarket? Who has experience with the torq locker and trail riding? I don’t want to get something that affects the handling or that forces other components to break. Thanks in advance.

HELP with pricing

I decided to sell my 2009 sportsman 850 . Got power steering , and some other stuff too... reason - want to get a Scrambler 1000. or sportsman at least. Picture @ August ATV of the month . located in Chicago Area...
under 2500 miles. not sure of hours , i guess avg speed will be around 8mph. I will check when come back home . kept it in garage for last 3y...
I'm confused with pricing it out... what would you suggest ? engine nor transmission was never open, all recalls done at the Polaris dealer in Wisconsin. stock clutches. no snorkels etc...
