Hello Everyone

I'm not the most active person in forums usually but I'm always checking them out for answers and tips and things. I'm from the Montreal area of Canada and enjoy time on the trails with wife and kids or to haul a couple of ATVs along on a camping trip. Sadly I have to haul a little to get to any good riding areas but it's worth it.

I've been into ATVs since I was young but have gone from loving the sport ATVs to the more comfy kind over the years, I'm not "old" yet but must be getting there :)

I look forward to reading your posts and stories, cheers!

I need help finding a part name.

Ok so I bought a 2000 sportsman 500 4x4. My nephew has done work on it and it’s ready to ride. However I am missing the front plastic piece that covers all the wiring. I have no idea what that piece is called to look it up and order one. Please help me!! I am going to try and post a pic if I can figure out how to. Any advice is appreaciated!

Bow Holder

I have a 2015 Polaris sportsman 570 and I want to carry my bow on the front. I don’t have any kind of front rack or anything to hook up too. What do I need to get to hold a bow? Is there something that mounts in the holes on the front?

Checking in

Hi there. Wife and I just purchased a 2013 Rzr XP 900 with a stage two kit. We are taking her out to the Oregon dunes in early Oct. Really looking forward to it! And so are the “kids”

How to tell if water pump is dead?

My quad overheated the other day which I found extremely worrying, The fan wouldnt turn on or so I thought. Got it back, fitted a fan override, took it out the next day and did not need the override as the fan came on and off with the thermostate. I plugged it into buds and the sensor was showing the temp, fan kicked in at 97C, its had a new thermostat.

Took it out again, The fan was running but the rad was spilling water so I am wondering how I would know if the water pump had died or was dying? is there a way to check to see if water is being pumped?

HMF tuner settings with stock exhaust

Hello fellas! I am looking to get an HMF tuner and retain my stock exhaust, anyone have suggested settings for this? HMF didnt other that it will probably be too rich from them as they are programmed for their exhaust. Thanks! 2018 570 btw

No bottom and power

I have a 03 sportsman 600 twin it starts awesome when without the choke but once it gets warm it is no power till after about half throttle them it takes off fine. I have checked for vacuum leaks didn't find anything, put a 157 main jet in (it didn't change anything), cleaned the carb, adjusted the float, adjust the air fuel screw, I got it to where no matter what i do it gets worse. Kinda lost on what to do any ideas? Was thinking about maybe the secondary clutch?

2012 Sportsman 850 Idling high and creeping in gear/hard to shift

Alright so a few weeks I had these same issues except the high idle. I took the primary clutch off and checked the one way, its fine. I also took the weights out and sanded them down bc they were sticking. Then I put a new belt on it from eBay and went on a ride a few days later. All my problems were solved. No more creeping, easy to shift, idled perfect. It ran like new all day long. Then all of a sudden it made some weird noise and cut off. Barely wanted to turn over but wouldn't crank and everyone was saying it was hydro locked but I didn't think that was the problem. So I took it home and took the belt cover off to find that my belt had shredded and was wrapped around my primary which was preventing the bike from turning over. So I took the old belt off and put a new quality brand one on it and now it idles way high, very hard to shift, and the secondary is spinning at idle. Im not sure whats wrong. Ive read a lot about clutch alignment but idk how they're supposed to look so I'm not sure if mine are good or not. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
