2012 850xp

Quick question. Will a 2015 scrambler 1000 front diff fit in my 2012 sportsman 850xp if I change the drive shaft also?

Just picked up a 98 xplorer 300 and got a couple questions

Just recently picked up my first ATV. 98 polaris xplorer 300 for $500. Needed a new LF Control arm cause the one was bent. Overall in good condition.

Looking to change all the maintenance items on it as who knows how long it's been since it's been worked on.

Are these liquid cooled or air cooled? I'm assuming air as i see just a fan in front.

Does the 300 have a counterbalance? I thought I read somewhere that it does not and if it does i want to change the fluid.

I'm going to be buying fluid for the trans, hubs and is there anything needed for the front oil wise?

I plan on getting

Polaris Premium Synthetic AGL Plus Gear
Polaris Demand Drive Plus

Should I replace the belt?

Just looking for what i should check and replace to get this up to date.

Thanks in advanced.

Big bore engine build clutching

anyone knowing what the shift out rpms are needing for let’s say a 860bbk with race cams. What kind of rpms is anyone getting. My machine is pulling around 7600 shift out on pavement and 7800 in dirt. I’m running Qsc stm set up for clutches. Any input with useful information would be appreciated.

Motor Isolators

This is about my 2017 Sportsman 450 Utility Edition. I was originally going to post a different question about my motor suddenly knocking against a bracket on the frame. Doing the research to ask a proper question I realized that the part called the front motor isolator has come apart on the right side. I removed the panels and saw that the flat metal was no longer attached to the rubber disk but wasn't really sure, at that point, it was suppose to be. Looking around I did see how that part was suppose to look.

So the new question is there a better product than the stock one? I have seen it priced from 20 to 45 dollars but if there is a better option now would be the time to do it. I have not been hard on this ATV and have had it since new so it is a concern that this part failed in a 16 months with only 110 miles on it on trails only.

What does the “G” mean

I just purchased an Outlander Max XT-P 1000. On the Multifunction display, near the bottom is the gear box position indicator. When in park, it displays "P", Neutral it displays "N", etc. Just to the right of that display there are 3 letters that can be visible. L, G, and S. Mine has a "G" displaying. I can't find anywhere in the manual as to what these letters mean. My reference is page 98, #9 in the 2019 operators guide, outlander series.

Anyone ideas?

No 2019 1000s

Heard from a couple dealers Polaris won't be putting out any 2019 850s or 1000s atvs. They also said they may put out some Highlifters models. Anyone else heard this?
