These come from the factory without grease.

10 miles on mine, brand new 2017 touring xp1000. Thought I would double check all the zerks (except the drive line one...can't find it).

aarms took 6+ pumps, hubs took 12+. (please note this is the small polaris grease gun) Required over a full 3oz tube of polaris grease to do them all 1 time.

650 or 850

Hey guys, thank you for all the help on my posts. I have it narrowed down to a 650 XT or an 850 XT.

New to me 650 max xt

Hi, I just picked up a used 2017 max 650 xt with 149 kms on it. My last bike was a 2000 Yamaha Big Bear Professional, so this is a big change for me. Just wondering what should me "must do" mods. 90% is going to be trail riding, plowing in the winter, very little mud bogs and deep water, but will happen from time to time lol.

2003 sportsman 500 oils

Can someone confirm that for my 2003 sportsman 500 that I use:

1. angle drive fluid for the front differential.

2. AGL gear lube for the transmission.

3. demand drive or atf type f for the hubs.

I just bought this atv last Saturday and want to do a full fluid change before I drive it.

I drained the rad coolant and put in prestone 50/50 premix. I saw afterward in the manual that it calls for 60/40. Will it make a big difference?

I've found all kinds of conflicting info searching on youtube and google and just want to make sure I put the right stuff in.

Thanks.

Madison County NY riding

No legal trail system set up in Madison County for some reason. Are there any places where you can ride in this county?? Does anyone have experience with setting up a trail system? I'd like to talk with the county and see if there is a way to get something set up but I have no idea where to start.

rear seat/storage suggestions

Looking for suggestions on a storage/rear seat combo for my 570. Are there decent low cost options anywhere? Everything decent ive seen so far is $270 and up.

Thanks!

Couple issues ’11 Sportsman 850 XP EPS

Hello, new to the forum figured I'd ask the question on here before I go tearing stuff apart as this is my first atv I've ever owned and seems like you guys know what your doing. I bought this machine used a few days ago, I noticed a little bit of slack in the front wheels when I gave them a little wiggle. It's very slight and identical in both front wheels. Thinking it may be normal. So once I got it home I took it down the road and picked up speed and at about 45mph it starts shaking pretty bad unless I'm really holding her tight...when the atv is just sitting there is maybe an inch or two of slop left to right with no reaction to steering. Any suggestions or previous posts about this that anyone knows about? It seems maybe a tie rod adjustment? My second issue is oil in the airbox, which seems quite common, although I've seen multiple fixes just curious if the fix that "supercoe" posted years ago still stands or is it recommended to buy the whole new breather. Thanks guys.

ESP/warranty. are they kidding?

Exclusions include:
damaged caused by lean mixtures, detonation, pre-ignition, carbon, coking or sludge...
--- wouldn't that generally be caused by a malfunction of the (way-too-many) electronics onboard?

pulleys, discs, throw out bearing, PVT drive clutch weights, pins, rollers, bushings and springs.
--- so if these grenade due to manufacturing defect, these aren't covered?

I must be reading this wrong.

New Mexico? Land of Enchantment?

I used to live in Ruidoso, NM which has a ton of official and non official trails, one we used to ride that supposedly was once ridden by Billy the Kid while running from the law.
My parents now live in Capitan NM which is actually closer to the infamous Lincoln courthouse, and there are a lot of trails there.
I now live in Tijeras, NM. I saw some official trails online south of Tijeras and I also saw BLM south of Edgewood that has trails.

Sucks to go riding alone :(.... anyone from NM?
