Fuel Pump Assembly

Does anyone have any experience with the fuel pump assembly on the 2005-2008 Sportsmans EFI's? I am trying to figure out where the Fuel Pressure Regulator is supposed to go. I thought there was a plastic harness inside the tank, but when I pulled the assembly out there was no harness and the regulator was rattling around in the tank. Could the gas have possibly have eaten this plastic piece up??:hmmm:

Looking for trails near NY

Hey there, new to the forum. Im in Dutchess County NY and am looking for any reccomendations for any trails near me. I've been to Lost trails in PA and really liked it there. Any other places to ride?
Thanks!

fuel guage

Hey
just wondering i'm told that the older sportsman's sometimes need the fuel gauge to be loosened by pulling on it inside the fuel tank
has anyone done this and do you have a video on it.
my sportsman only shows full and I have filled it a few times so I'm guessing I'll need to look at doing this.
thanks
Glenn.

Service

Just got a 1995 sportsman 400 4x4 and want to know if I can change transmission oil with anything else other than Polaris product? If it will be an issue also? Thanks beforehand

Engine Code

2018 570 with only 5 hours on it and the engine light came on with the code of 520194-7. Needless to say I'm not very happy- bit concerned I just bought a lemon. Any ideas or advice for me? Thanks for your input!

570 charging problem

For some reason my Atv is running on my battery, my stator and wiring is brand new no hours on it from the dealership , and I thought it maybe the coil, so I tested it and came back at .6 ohms, spark plug is new...what else can it be that is draining my battery and not letting the bike run for more than 1 minute?

800 Fuel Mileage

I'm fairly new to ATVs, recently bought an 08 800 Sportsman Touring, very low mileage, like new. I like it! My question is this, how far can I expect to go on a tank of fuel. I know there are trails, and then there are trails. I suppose rolling along in 2WD high range on forest roads is one thing, and slogging along a rocky brutal trail in low range is another. But I don't want to get caught starting on a trip without enough fuel. And by the way, what is a good way to carry extra fuel?

850 XP dead

I have a 2014 Sportsman 850 XP. This morning I had been plowing snow then got off to open garage. ATV suddenly died. Now the key is stuck in ignition, screen is black and won't even turn on auxiliary power. Still have power to the winch which is wired directly to the battery. Obviously something electrical just hopping for a good idea where to start.
