OEM steel wheel offset

Hello Forum,

I'm looking for info regarding the OEM Wheels/Tires on my 2017 570 Sportsman Touring 2Up. The tires have the info written on them. As for the wheels I Google searched for info on them & here's what I have so far:

OEM TIRES:
Carlisle AT 489,
4 Ply Rated (bias),
Max Inflation 10 PSI,
F. 25 x 8 - 12,
R. 25 x 10 - 12.

OEM STEEL WHEELS
F: 1520269-067
12 x 6, black,
R: 1520457-067
12 x 8, black.

BOLT PATTERN
4 x 156mm

OFFSET
???????
That's what I can't find. I read an article that explains what the numbers mean:

"Every rim has an offset that consists of 2 numbers that are measurements.
The 1st number is the measurement (in inches) from the inside lip of the rim, to the center of the rim where the hub and rim meet.
The 2nd number is the measurement (in inches) from the hub to the outside lip of the rim.

For example: An ATV wheel with a 4+3 offset will measure 4" from the inside lip to the center of the rim where the hub and rim meet, and then it will measure 3" from the hub to the outside lip. The two numbers added together will total the overall width of the rim.

Positive Offset vs. Negative Offset?
A positive offset will have a larger number first and and smaller number second.
For example. 4+2, 5+2, 4+3, 5+3
A negative offset will have a smaller number first and a larger number second.
For example. 2+5, 3+4, 3+5"

So, does anyone here know what the offset of these wheels is? Please let me know.

Thamk you,
Petros

10 hour service??

Hey guys,

Read a lot of people here talking about a 10hr break in service.

Just read my 2018 outlander 850 manual front to back and it mentions a 10hr break in period but nothing about having to change oils at these period ... in fact I'm pretty sure it only says change engine oil once a year?

Where’s this bit go?

2008 DS 90X. Was riding yesterday and after going through a muddy puddle she started running rough in the higher rpm range. Check the air filter, appeared tidy, then noticed this hose loose and couldn't restart.

Axle Swap

I got a 96 sportsman 500 and it has the u-joints in the rear and I broke one last year and replaced both rears. Now all four u-joints in the rear and out. I have read different forums about a swap to CV style axles. I read where this guy puts 04 axles in his 98 and he bought 04 rear a-arms, bearing carriers, and hubs. I looked at part numbers on rockmounatin and every thing was the same. The bearing, carrier, both arms, and bearing carrier. I would have to grind down the bolt head on the A-arm. Any help would be appreciated.

2018 HighLifter General FAQ’s and opinion

So just recently I purchased a HighLifter and man it was the best decision I could have made. The bike runs unbelievable well and is amazing. My buddy has a 850 sportsman and we will be doing some comparing in a few weeks after break in period. Dig races, top speed, axle sizes, seat size, etc etc. I had a lot of questions before purchasing this one I'm hoping this thread can answer them. Also new to the group. Hope to hear from y'all soon!
