2006 Sportsman 500 EFI wont start

I'm looking for help with my Sportsman... She won't start. I drove it the other day, then quit. Here is what I did.

It was acting like it was starving for fuel, so I checked to see if the in-tank pump was working, and I didnt hear it prime.

I checked the 3 pin plug fuel pump plug on the ECU side for voltage and A-C pins showed 9.8V. Good (Shop manual says it needs 7-12V.)

Checked the pump for continuity. It was good too.

Thought the pump had a flat spot then, so I replaced the pump.

Still won't start. So I checked the ECU for codes, 41, 22, and 45. Not serious codes.

On a hunch, I checked the power on the fuel side of the 3 pin plug and it showed 0V across pins A-C

I unplug the plug and check it again on the ECU side, It shows 9.8V.... but when I plug the pump in, it goes to 0V.

So, I manually power the pump using a good battery, and it spins to life, and fires right up.

I plugged it into the harness and it stalls out. It still wont run when plugged into the wiring harness.

Is it the ECU? Power control module? Are the codes more serious than I think?

Help.

Check engine wont go away

I have a 2015 polaris sportsman ETX and ive been having an issue with my atv that been going on for about a year now. When ever i splash threw any sort of water/puddle a couple times my check engine light comes on, and the atv goes into like a limp mode where i cant go over 10mph. Ive taken it to the dealer multiple times, and first they said there was nothing wrong with it cause they couldnt get the light to come on. So i go on another trip and it happens almost instantly so another weekend trip wasted. I take it back and then they say the throttle control allignment was off. So i go on another trip and again happens within an hour. At this point im frustrated and wanna get rid of the thing. So i bring it back and this time they decide to hook it up to there computer to get the codes and again they say nothing is wrong. And yet agian i go riding and the light comes on again. At this point i dont know what to do its frausting wasting trips because your machine wont go over 10mph after splashing threw a couple puddles.

Possible RPM Problem.

Hey, I have a 2012 Polaris Sportsman 400 H.O.

Its been driving perfectly up until today, I was driving through a trail and when I got out of the trail I noticed that it sounded wrong, I let off the throttle and the bike slowed down, but it didn't completely stop like it normally does. This wasn't a problem, but a bit after that I tried to switch gears into reverse and it refused to budge. I had to turn the atv off, put it into park while it was off, and then turn it back on and move it into reverse. After that, I needed to put it into high again, but the problem ensued, so I had to turn the atv off and repeat the process to move it into gear. I figured that if I let it sit for a bit maybe the engine would cool down, but after turning the bike off and letting it sit for about 2 hours it's still happening, any help would be greatly appreciated!

Went through water tire height, anything to do?

Damp forest trail tonight, went through many water/ mud holes tire height, one hour ride or so, anything to do on the quad to prevent damage?
I hosed all mud down, but then what needs to be done? (other than greasing the zerks?)

Also, I wonder, I gave it some hell, and at some point I got stuck nose down in a ditch, eventually winched myself out, but on the way back, the quad engine died on idle, always had to keep some throttle to keep it going. Any clue why?

thanks

New suspension

I finally got around to ordering new shocks for my ride. I ended up going with stage 3 Elka’s. I ordered them from I-shock. They were $25 cheaper then direct from Elka plus free shipping! The guy I spoke with , Darren or Darryl? can’t remember, was super helpful and explained all the differences between the stages. If for any reason I don’t like how they are setup, or they make a mistake, once I install them they have a satisfaction guarantee and I can send them back and they will set them up different. All my research seemed to show you get better customer service compared to ordering direct thru Elka. He said build time is about 10 business days. Could be a bit sooner but that’s the time frame they have to tell ppl. This should be the last mod I will be doing. Or not who knows??!!
