Zilla tire pressure/maintenance/storage

I’m not technically a new member but have been out of the ATV scene for the past year or so, mainly just using my 570 for plowing. I recently came into a good deal on a set of STI HD3 wheels with 26” Zillas, and a set of rack extenders and led lights for $200. I’m quite happy with the finished product, especially the OEM style switches I found for the lights. While I expected a bumpier ride with these tires, I wasn’t expecting them to be so squirrelly on the gravel roads. What pressures are everyone running their Zillas at?
On another note, are there any grease zerks on these machines besides on the front and rear suspension?
I’m also looking for suggestions on a storage bag to affix to the front rack. Something low profile and zipper less that my rack extenders won’t force me to mount too closely to the headlight pod.

Happy riding

2001 traxter locked up

I'm working on a 2001 traxter for my brother-in-law he's physically not able to do the work so he asked me to take a look. It will not turn over and I cannot pull it manual. He said over the last month it got harder and harder to start both with the starter and pulling it. Battery full charge. When you put it in neutral it will move. Solenoid engages. Starter spins when I pull it out of the machine. I've looked at the oil a couple times and pull the spark plugs does not smell burnt looks good has plenty of oil. Just seems to be locked up. Wondering if anybody has any ideas that would help.

2011 Can Am Commander spark fire no start

I have 2011 800 commander that I bought with a a blown motor. I put a 650 to 800 swap and bought all Mr Rpm parts. It has stock 800 heads and cams. I have triple checked timing and valve settings. I have good fire to the plugs. I put a fuel pressure gague on the return fuel line and it read 50ish psi. I have even tried spraying carb cleaner in the intake and it still won't bust off. Has a brand new reprogrammed key as well. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks

Gear selection

I am new to owning a Polaris. I have a 2002 sportsman 700 good shape 1k miles owned by an older guy at hunt club. I recently had a minor service done at the dealership (no issues just tired ball joint) and the mechanic told me to ride mainly in Low gear. Said it will save the belt life. Is this true? I am heading out to WV Hatfield & McCoy trails at end of the month and will be doing trails of all sorts. What gear should I be riding in? Low or High. I don't want to keep stopping at a trail head to switch to H to keep up with the group. and if I am in L whats the top speed?

Thanks

Clucth issues/EBS

ON my 2017 1000XP while going down a steep hill using the ADC it acts as though the clutches release as my speed increases and you can hear slight squealing as speed increases.

I have owned Polaris for year but have not had any clutch issues.

Any ideas on it based on my short explanation? :ugh:

New to the page with clutch issues

Hey there, my name is Sam and I'm from eastern AB. I currently ride a 2014 outlander 1000 with a few things done to it. I joined up hoping to get some help with my clutches and hope to be able to help other members while being a part of this forum.

To start things off I'm running the QSC and STM clutch combo on it and got them quite hot the other day pulling my boat. After shutting the quad down and letting it cool I started it a few hours later to find that the quad would not go into gear without stalling. I assumed the one way bearing must've seized. Pulled the clutch cover off to find that the primary is not returning to where it should be at idle causing the secondary to spin at idle. I tried to pull the outer part of the clutch off to see if I could see if something was binding but I could only pull the clutch out as far as where it should be idling and to get it there I had to use ratchet straps attached to my truck lol. the one way bearing rotates perfectly fine with no noise.

Wondering if anyone has any insight as to what may have happened to the clutch. Is there a bushing on the back side of the clutch that would be somewhat seized to the shaft not allowing me to pull it off? Thanks, Sam

Haven’t looked at the radiator relocation kits instructions yet. Wut else is suggested to get done on these beasts.

Tires leaking at bead. Tubes or no?

I picked up a used set of Kendas for my 570 sportsman a few months ago and bought some new aluminum wheels to go with. Had them mounted at a reputable shop. After about 2 weeks I find that all 4 are leaking around the bead. Had them remounted and sealed twice since. Once at a different shop. Still leaking. One leaks mich faster than the others. I think the wheels are to blame but could be wrong. My question is what would you all do? Go for tubes? Try slime? Or sell them and start over which I really dont wanna do. Thanks
