Clutch engagement from idle
Hello Everybody:
I'm new to the forum, and have been reading some of the various threads. I see a lot of good answers to different rider's questions, and would like to ask for help on a few that I have.
At cold start up, my 2016 570 Sportsman EPS drive belt engagement from idle to first movement makes my rear tires "chirp". I now hold my brake lever on as tight as possible to eliminate this, but it still wants to engage so fast and hard that the tires chirp on my cement garage apron.
Can somebody tell me if they also experience this, and if I can do anything about hard belt engagement? I am always in high gear, or reverse when this happens. Is this normal? Should I not worry about it?
When the belt engages and the tires chirp, I also hear one loud "crack", which sounds like it is coming from the front end. Is this also normal, or do I have a problem? To date, and I have over a thousand miles on the ATV, I have not had a break down.
Also, at start up when the ATV is at normal operating temperature, I will sometimes hear a sound, like a musical tone coming from the dash area. I asked my dealer about it and they have had no experience with this from other customers. It did this last year, then stopped until this past weekend. I started the ATV up during a mountain ride, and this singing sound/tone came on. I had no choice but to ride it, and it eventually stopped after about an eighth of a mile. Has anybody experienced this?
I changed all of my fluids at 1,000 miles, so they are all fresh.
I'd appreciate any advise offered.

Warning: Crankcase Vent
I have a 2017 model defender that was also built in 2017 do this (see pictures). Just posting this as a heads up for people to check as this crankcase vent goes straight to the throttle body boot so I assume it could have been sucking in dirt and/or water. Talking to the dealer and gonna see what they will do about it. I have a 2017 model defender that was built in 2016 and has different shielding. It has just under 10000 miles and never did this.
2014 maverick max rs 4 seater trailer
i am wondering if anyone hauls these on a 12 foot trailer?
Shifting issues
I knew that Can Am notoriously has issues with shifting from Low, high, park etc. In my first day of riding my quad it no longer will shift into park. Reverse is neutral and so on. It makes sense that this is a linkage issue. I opened things up and saw that the threaded part of the linkage is bent now. This is frustrating, 8k for a machine that defected in the first two hours of riding it. I am very new to the ATV world but this just seems off to me. Did I pull too hard on it when i should have been doing the" Can Am Hump"?

CVT WATER PROBLEM SOLVED (I hope)
Gents attached is 1.5 pvc that I ran up under the gas tank. It fits snug and barely pushing the side panel out. Now for the other side I tried flex pvc and after time it bent. So now I ordered the two piece snorkel that goes under the gas tank also. The rear/main cvt cover is also rtv’d. More pics to come when I receive the other cvt. Please comment/ ask questions.
450 A-Arm same as 570?
Are the 570 after market A Arms interchangeable with the 450?
I see on the high lifter page they list the 450 as well as the 570 but on the Super ATV page they don't. I need to order something to get my ATV back on the road so any help is appreciated.
