U-joints. Whats the best?

1500 miles...2013 Outlander and the u-joint nearest the tranny is shot. I hope that's the noise I was hearing under there!! Not happy with that...I feel they should last much longer...I don't abuse the machine. But it is what it is.

Anyways...my dealer has them listed for $55.99 a piece. Amazon has them for $14.00. Any tips or suggestions on which to get? I'm replacing both on the shaft as its out anyways. The side nearest the rear diff is fine. I know nothing about them and would rather pay more now for better quality.

Thanks!

My name is Tony hi everybody

I just bought a 2010 Can-Am Outlander 800 XT Max it's badass pretty fast I was surprised I made it street legal but I've noticed it does its best when it's in the dirt let's have lots of fun riding four wheelers by everyone

Looking to upgrade wheels/tires in the near future

Hey guys,

Looking to upgrade the tires and wheels on my 17 outlander 850 xt.

Looking to stay with a 14" rim, think I found the rims I want.

Looking at a few options for tires...

29.5" maxis big horn 3.0's, guessing some footwell trimming will be needed? (wish they made a 28!!!)

28" mega mayhem's, assuming none/minor footwell trimming.

Also haven't rules out maxis big horn 2.0's, 28", no trimming?

Wheeler is used for trail riding, in the woods, and on dirt roads. I hope to maybe play in mud here and there, nothing that would require a rad relocate or snorkel. Thoughts on tire size type?

Our 08 brute force has some knock off big horns, been a great tire for plowing snow, woods, dirt roads. They do ok in muddy situations.

Thanks guys!

hose off of water pump housing

Hey guys,

Was greasing up the unit yesterday and found a tube coming from the water pump. guessing it's a vent or weep. Do I need to get a new piece and run it up with the rest of the vent tubes?... to avoid it taking on water if I device do ride in some?
