2003 TB 250 rear shock

Have an 03 Trailblazer 250, rear shock is blown. Been looking everywhere for a replacement but I'm coming up empty. Can only find 16" eye to eye for the previous year models. Places that have the parts list/diagrams say that the shock is discontinued. Is there another machine that uses a 19" eye to eye rear shock that I can pull it from?

Newer model seat brackets.

I went to the dealer the other day and found myself looking at a new '18 570. I pulled the seat off and saw that the seat brackets that slide into the seat under the tank are different and seem to be a composite material and seem to be built a bit stronger. They also appear to be thicker to not allow as much seat movement. I looked up the part numbers and they are indeed different than my '14 570. I ordered some and will report back on what I find. I'm hoping that it will help with the seat gap and movement. I'm leery on the plastic/composite material in that heat.

P/N's are 5452276 and 5452277.

1993 2×4 250 trail boss

Hey guys, I bought this atv about a year ago, I rebuilt the carb, ran new lines and got tires for it. I also rebuilt the rear caliper and got new pads. Everything works great except my pvt belt keeps slipping. When I got the four wheeler, the pvt case had a big whole in the bottom, I felt underneath and my drive pulley is protruding through the case like something’s bent or crooked. Just confused why it slips though, nothing hits the belt or the pulleys. Give me your thoughts

battery upgrade to drycell type ?

anybody do it and recommendations ?
did a search but did not find answers -

want to avoid the deep boonies - stop shut down and no start situations
figure a upgrade will help -
and carry a boost pack

Making dps work without signal from speedometer

So in some country's where ATV are not allowed to go faster than 40km/h some people cut wire 18 from the speedometer, it cuts the signal from the speedometer to the engine so the ATV goes 105 km/h, but this also cuts the signal from speedometer to the DPS so the DPS don't know what mode its in so the DPS don't work. Anyone knows how to make the DPS work without signal from speedometer?

Oil line specs?

Anyone know the size of line to use to replace the oil line on a 1986 250? I'm looking at all the parts diagrams and none of them show this. I think the previous owner took off the injection oil and i'd like to put it back....
