Winch issue
I have a 2011 sportsman 500 and the first time I used the winch it malfunctioned. I wrapped it around some deadfall to pull it out of the trail and it would not stop pulling in even after I shut the key off it kept pulling in until it bound up tight and still would not stop until I put the winch into neutral. It is a factory winch so I would assume it has an inline fuse that should have blown when it overloaded but it did not. The electrical solenoid was not mounted to anything and was bouncing around. I'm guessing the solenoid is the problem but not sure how to diagnose and the fuse issue puzzles me. Any help would be appreciated.

EPI Mudder clutch kit install
Hello
Got a good deal on a EPI mudder clutch kit (WE425015) for my 07 sportsman 500 EFI non EBS, bike is stock except for Diesel wheels and 27" Mega Mayhems, so put it in last weekend, install is not bad at all.
Is it normal for this kit to engage at 2800 RPM's for taking off, bike runs good, feels strong just has about 2800 RPM engagement on take off.
I have researched some and some guys say yes and some say no.
Just don't want to hurt anything, I rode it for about 3 hours throughout the day (ran it hard some and climbed some nasty hills with lots of rocks, kinda dicy with the high engagement at first), as stated runs strong, everything feels great just the high RPM's taking off.
Thanks!

Wheels pull hard to side.
My 97 Sportsman 500 will periodically pull hard to side forcing me to wrestle it to hold it straight. It will stop when I jerk handle bars quickly back and forth. Frequency is progressively getting worse. Any ideas as to problem and repair. Thanks:sad
Leaky carburetor
I have a 97 sportsman 500. Carburetor has slow leak so I have to turn gas off at tank to store for even a few days. Any ideas as to what might be going on. How do I determine mikuni carburetor type and model. Should I just rebuild, as it’s never been serviced or needed it until now. Thanks

Alternate for relay
For anyone interested in being able to get the 5 blade rectangle shaped relays ( not the square 4 blade ones ) for the fuel pump , fan , lights etc on the G-1 bikes , it was also used on GM S-10's , vans etc from 1999 - 2002 as a Daytime running lamp relay .
The Rabbit Holes Are Deep!
Havent posted much, as I have been working on getting the 2008 650 Outlander I purchased all fixed up. A lot of work probably wasnt a must, but it will be a great peace of mind when I am numerous miles away from the truck. I will say however, the deeper you dig, the more things you will find to fix. Just wanted to let everyone know how much I appreciate all the support and answers to my hundreds of questions, you guys have been great.

Revalve Fox front shocks?
Hi guys,
Anyone done a revalve job on the Fox shocks or even just changed the oil?
Thinking of upgrade the front shocks most because I feel the rebound on the stockers are a bit lame and feel a nicely set up Fox would do the trick as I don't actually ride that hard just feel the front bounce back a bit too fast after a hard compression. Still want that plush feeling when riding real slow in difficult terrain.
