Hi guys I’m new to the forums so I don’t know If im posting this the right way but anyway, I have a two stroke Polaris sportsman 400 that’s been sitting and won’t start. It used to run years ago but we took it apart for some reason(I think to fix the electric starter) but now some of the wires on the panel are disconnected and I don’t know where they go. If someone has a link to a manual or diagram or even a picture of their wiring panel it would be greatly appreciated. The panel I’m talking about is on the left side in front of the seat or something, I’ll take a picture of it when I get home if it would help. Sorry for the long post and thank you
Trails at Last!
Finally was able to get out this last weekend for the first time with our 570. What a great feeling to be back out on mountain trails again. This first trip was extra special as one of our dear friends that we ride with often, has stage 4 cancer and was really great to see her out enjoying herself. We don't know how much time she has as she has been battling this for 5 years now and just decided to stop with the treatments. So we are going to try to take advantage of the time we have with her and get out as often as we can while we still have her. Got a great pic of her sitting on their old Polaris. For those of you that pray, would humbly ask for prayer for her, and her Husband(Julie and Ray). For peace of mind and mercy for this part of her journey until she goes home. Thanks
We have had so much moisture and cool weather this year that we still have pockets of snow along the trails. The 570 performed flawlessly, and drives like a dream, would never go back to a non power steering, or non independent suspension machine. But.......as smooth and nice as this machine is, will definitely be looking for a 2-up in the near future. My set up worked well but there were two other 650 2-ups on the ride and they are just "that" much smoother. I have no plans of getting rid of what we have, but will probably be upgrading the other Rancher. Well here's a few pics of our ride on Saturday, will be heading out again this coming weekend with some friends that just picked up a little Yamaha Grizzly and have never done any trail riding.

A Mellow Muffler for my 850
I’m looking for a replacement muffler for my 2017 Sportsman 850.
Any suggestions on something quieter with a deeper sound without the raspy sharpness of the OEM?
I posted this in the performance section with no responses. Maybe most are more interested in louder, not quieter exhausts.
Thanks

2008X2 Tire/Wheel
So in another post I was trying to get new wheels & tires and stay at the stock width in the rear. This doesn't seem feasible (at least in a cost effective manner).
Anyway - I think I may just look for a used trailer that's a bit wider then my 4x8 trailer.
So - without the width restriction of the trailer - I'm gonna look at wheel/tire combos
First: Which do people like better - steel or aluminum? I am looking at either the ITP Delta Steel or the ITP aluminum wheels (haven't decided on a favorite; SS212, SS312, SS316, Hurricane). I do hit a fair amount of large rocks on the trails I ride - that's what bent up my stock wheels.
Second: Thinking of trying the Bearclaw HTR. What size is recommended? I was thinking 25-8-12 on the front and 25-10-12 on the rear. Going to a 26" adds a fair amount of weight (and the Bearclaw HTR are already ~5lbs/tire heavier then stock) - not sure I need a taller tire, but wanted to see what others thought - or why they prefer a larger tire.
Lastly: Where is the best place to by a wheel/tire combo that offer the ITP wheels and Bearclaw HTR?
Considerations: My riding is in Maine. Primarily on rocky trails - not much on open dirt. I do hit mud - but don't spend a lot of time in it - just what I need to get through on the trail. I also want something that is good in snow as I do take my machine on the lake to go ice fishing.

EPS setting
I have wrist issues so I use the max setting on the EPS. Unfortunately every time I start the bike this setting goes back to the MIN setting. Is there a way to make the MAX setting the default?

2003 sportsman 500 cam sprocket bolts broken
i replaced the head on my 03’ sportsman 500 HO. It ran great in the garage and around the yard. Then I take it on the trail, i heard a metal snap and it stopped. I turned the key to start it again and nothing.
I opened it up at home and found the two bolts located on the cam shaft sprockets were broken. One was out and in one piece.
When I put the chain on the sprocket and I tightened the three bolts to Manufacture specs.
Now i have a cam with two broken bolts stuck in there and i have no idea how this (broken bolts and one loose bolt) happened.
Any thoughts or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
