service manual for 2005 polaris atp 500

Hello everyone, new to the forum and have I a question...

I´m about to restore a 2005 Polaris 500 ATP from my grandpa. Model No A05JD50AA
The problem is the ATP, is in a complete disassembled state so I looking for the service manual.

So far I can only find the service manual for the model no: A05MH42AH A05MH50AH A05MH59AK A05MH68AK and A05CH50FB but not for the A05JD50AA
Or can I use those service manuals for the A05JD50AA

I´m looking specifically for the wiring diagram and the carburetor assembly.
If someone could point me to a service manual for the 05 500 ATP it would be much appreciated.

Sorry for any spelling mistakes. I‘m from Germany

Thanks in advance...

Nico

2000 Trailboss 325

Before I start yes I’m a super noob. First time atv owner. Just picked up a trailboss 325. It was buried in snow all winter. Yesterday I put gas in it. Started 2nd pull (electric start doesn’t work) took off and died 30 seconds after. After struggling to get it started again it did the same thing. Went at it again today and it didn’t start at all and I noticed this small tube leaking gas by my back tires (pretty sure it’s coming from the carb) I attached a photo to give you guys and idea on what I’m talking about any ideas and fixes? I have 2 days to get this issue fixed so I can hit the trails on opening day. Any advice is welcome

Central NY

Going riding Friday. Where is a good place to park in the SNIRT Run area and easily see the roads and trails??? Taking the wife and kid. Thinking about Towpath Restaurant for lunch and then we hit the trails.

Carb problem

Hi, first time poster here. I have a Polaris 400 HO 2008 that has a carb problem. Worked fine until it wouldn't start and smelled like gas. Though it was flooded so I left it alone for an hour. Tried to start it and wouldn't crank, neither through the pull cord as though it was seized. Took the side off and noticed the carb was dripping gas from two places (see picture). The air intake also had about a cup of gas in its bottom. So I'm thinking I was unable to crank it because the cylinder was filled with gas. How would you go about fixing that problem? Does it need a new carb or just a carb kit?

Thanks.

(& sportsman 500 oil seal removal

I have a 97 sportsman 500 since it was new. I have an oil seal leaking behind the water pump(dripping out the weep hole). Can this seal be removed and installed without splitting the case? Clymer manual says the case has to be split. Also the tool to reinstall the mechanical seal for the water pump is discontinued. My local dealer says they do not work on older Polaris anymore. Guess they want you to buy a new one. My machine runs perfect and has alway been properly maintained. I have never had to ad oil between oil changes. It has never left me stranded. Its been all over the mountains of Colorado elk hunting and hauled countless number of whitetails out of the field of Texas, Illinois,Kansas. I brought my 2 boys up riding on it. I have a strong attachment to this machine.

front struts

I have a front strut that is leaking. Should I replace it with a Polaris brand OEM strut or replace both front struts with the less expensive aftermarket struts while I'm doing it?
