1998 Polaris Magnum 425 4×4 oil required

I recently got a 1998 Polaris Magnum 425 4x4 and am looking to do an oil change. The manual says to use oil Polaris oil part # 2871271. I can't find any info on this oil. What oil can I use?

Also what transmission oil can I use?

When to change a belt

This is my first belt driven atv. How do you know when it time to change the belt. Mine seems to be a little sluggish now. Engine is fine, it’s more acceleration that I’m missing I think.

2009 sportsman 850xp (won’t move)

Atv sat up for a while, went to take it out for a ride and it wouldn’t move. When I put it into get I noticed the drive shafts spin (front and back) but wouldn’t even budge. Got a buddy to push it while in gear and heard some clinking. Hoping some one can help with my problem. Really not wanting to go to the dealer and spend a arm and a leg.
Thanks!

Hello, I'm the new owner of a 15 Outlander 800 XT-P. An avid Ski-Doo snowmobiler during the winter months and needed to have some fun during the other 3 seasons... I'm looking forward to do some trail riding in Northeast PA and Upstate NY.

My name Mike, just purchased a 2018 Sportsman 1000 XP, it's quite a jump from my last ride, a 2004.5 Sportsman 500.

Jumping on the Renegade?

Question for those of you who ride hard and like to send it!! Do you ride with your Fox shocks stiff? I have mine slightly stiffer than factory settings. Might go a little stiffer. I’m a heavy guy at 240lbs. Where do you guys have your rebound set?

Got my new Bearclaws for the Touring 850

So it came downto Reapers, bighorn originals or the HTRs, I went with the HTRs because for the money 381.00 shipped was hard to pass up. Went with stock size and they are true, looks like 28s will actually fit but didnt want to chance it.
So far with so hard riding in my 7 acre pasture, the handling, smooth ride and confidence these tires provide is outstanding! Will provide more details after a trip to the trails.. BTW I did have them balanced when mounted, got it up to 60mph On my side road and they are smooth as butter..

Trail seats too low

I'm in the market for a side by side & narrowed it down to the 50 inch Maverick Trail and Polaris 50 inch 900. I really want the Maverick Trail but the seats are too low. Are their any aftermarket seats for the Maverick Trail to raise the seat height?
Thanks,
Crockett

OEM Highlifter Sportsman arched arms on standard XP?

Been wondering about this, and it's probably been answered somewhere around here....but i've been researching and am considering purchasing the lower front and rear control arms from a 2016 highlifter 850 (this particular year and model since they're black to match my current arms)

I have a 2015 sportsman xp 1000, and from what I can tell, all other part numbers are the same as far as upper control arms and other suspension parts. From looking at the diagrams as well as looking at machines locally, it seems like it should be a direct swap and everything should match up, including sway bars

anyone already done this, or know of someone who has done it successfully? ready to pull the trigger on this!
