I have a problem with my 850 scrambler XP! !!!! I was useing it, got off to do a task, left it idling and it died. Tried to restart and it would not hit a lick!!! I put a gallon of fuel in the tank after a 1/2 mile walk and it still wouldn't hit a lick, not even try to fire off, so towed it back to house. It only has 30 hours on the engine, ran good up until it died. I pulled the plugs, nice light brown color, hooked up the plug wires an had spark to both plugs. So I assume it's not getting fuel. Tried the throttle setting thing, still no results. So I'm not to informed about fuel injection. I have worked for a Honda/Kawasaki dealer as a mechanic/service manager back in 80's, mostly 4 wheelers and 3 wheelers for farmers. Rest was on motorcycle with carburetors.
Now retired an on my small farm. Use the 4 wheeler to get around because of infasemia.
Oh, one other thing, the fuel pump doesn't sound the same as before when you turn the key. I'm thinking fuel pump but with only 30 hrs on the machine, that shouldn't be so soon!!!
Next can it be removed without taking the fuel tank out of the machine?
So anyone out there that can throw some help please respond, I'm 75 yrs old an can't walk to far, need my wheels.
