I am going to be rebuilding the front hubs with new bearings and seals, figured I would replace the armature plates while I am in there, I have watched videos and read forums so i know what to do, I see that the package that has the bearings and seals come with what look like 2 o-rings about the size of the seals. I haven’t seen anyone mention using them, anyone have an idea if a use them?

I am trying to outfit my deluxe fairing with some lights but don't want to pay the for the pricey ones from Canam. I have seen similar posts here with DIY'er's and I have a few questions. Should these lights be flood or spot? I'm considering these:


Any ideas or input?

We are at Hatfield McCoy right now. Were from northern Michigan. We went on our 1st ride here today. After a bit of riding I noticed my machine was making a noise I had never heard before. When we stopped my wife said the same thing about her machine too. At idle it doesn’t make it. As soon as you take off up until about 4500 rpm it makes it. Soon as you get over that rpm it stops. The machines run fine nothing wrong that we noticed. It just weird that both machines are making the same noise and neither have made it before? Is it something to do with being at a different elevation? I’m attaching a video so you can hear it. Well I tried to attach a video and can’t figure it out? I can only attach pics?
I just figured it out. Hopefully this link works.

Which one is better in your opinion???? The Battery Tender (1.5 amp)or the NOCO Genius (1.1 amp)

Can-am owner from NH. Do a lot of weekend riding at ATV trails mostly in Northern NH. Have a 2013 Outlander MAX XT 800R. Enjoy reading about the different ways folks modify / trick out their ATVs

I have had the bike for two years with very little problems. Went riding this weekend after thirty minutes of riding temp light came on and went to limp mode. Antifreeze was boiling back into reservoir. Got back to camp,checked fan it was coming on once running. Only thing changed since last riding it upgraded plugs to NKGs and my brother in law put seafoam into gas. Changing thermostat this week and read about a few relays to look at.

My Sportsman has 2 air vent hoses coming off the top of the carburetor that tee into 1.....where does this hose route to PIC1, it was tucked up next to the gas tank but should it be hooked to something?

Also the black hoses coming off the right side PIC2 of the motor tee off and one hooks to the crankcase below the carb and the other goes up and over the carb PIC3 to the lefthand side but isn't connected to anything, it has a clamp and carbon on the end but I cannot find where it came off?
