Polaris Sweeps UTV Class at King of the Hammers



Polaris Factory Racing earned a podium sweep at the 2018 King of the Hammers UTV Race with Mitch Guthrie Jr. leading the way, followed by Braden Sims and Mitch Guthrie Sr.

Polaris Factory Racing continued its electric start to the 2018 season with a podium sweep at the Can-Am King of the Hammers UTV Race, the world’s toughest one-day off-road race.

Following Ronnie Anderson’s win last week at WORCS season opener in the all-new RZR RS1, Mitch Guthrie Jr.’s victory kept the Polaris Factory Racing team atop the podium. Guthrie Jr. was joined by fellow Polaris teammate Branden Sims in second and his father, Mitch Guthrie Sr., taking third. With multiple victories already secured early in this season, the Polaris team is primed to build upon its incredibly successful 2017 season.

Would you scurry through several feet of muck and mud while fending off 20 or so combatants for a shot at winning a Polaris RZR? For these folks, the answer is yes! Somewhere amidst all the mud, sweaty bodies and stuck UTVs was a water bottle with a golden ticket inside that one lucky person could exchange for a key to a Polaris RZR. If that key happened to be the one to start the RZR, they got to bring it home with them. Not a bad trade off if you don’t mind getting a little dirty.

This RZR definitely deserves the spotlight

While UTVs haven’t exactly made it to the big screen yet, they have certainly played a major roll behind the scenes in a number of major motion pictures. Not only are UTVs regularly used to cart personnel and equipment around on set, but they are frequently retrofitted and used as camera cars. This one in particular started out as a Polaris RZR XP 1000 and was stripped down and lengthened by Rhys Millen Racing. You probably won’t see it on the silver screen any time soon, but it will very likely be lurking behind the scenes.

No lights and awd

Hey guys. I have a problem and i started giving up my last hope :/ i cant find an electric issue. I have no lights and no awd at all. Only when i press start buttion everything is ok, all the lights works and awd too. But when i release this button, all the lights and awd dissapears. I checked all the wires, cleaned all the grounds, so i think, that only start buttion may be deffected. What do you think?
