The Patriot: Modded Mondays
The Patriot: Modded MondaysThe Diesel Brothers definitely don’t do anything halfway so when it comes to building a patriotic Polaris RZR XP4 Turbo, one could only expect it to be over the top. The Patriot is definitely brimming with red, white and blue and with a character like Diesel Dave behind the wheel, it doesn’t get much more […] more
Hi from the UK
Hi guys. Rich here from Yorkshire in the UK.
I have a Renegade 850 and KTM 990 adventure, and I like most things with wheels and engines.
Don’t get too much time to ride, but have fun when I get the chance.
We have very few trails over here now, but did manage a play in the snow the other day. It doesn’t last though. Was gone in less than 24 hours.

plow mount question
I have a 2000 polaris Expedition and i am fabricating a front mount for it for 2 reasons. 1 reason is they do not make a front mount for my quad and 2 i want a higher lift then what you can get off a mid mount. My question is I have a winch with a mount that mounts directly to the frame. Do you guys think i can mount the plow mount to the bottom of the winch mount without any problems? I would think it is plenty strong enough because the winch mount is directly to the frame also.
Hard shifting
Hey guys newbie here, I've owned a Polaris now for about yr, i know this is an old topic but just curious if anything new has come up, i have an 850 sportsman xp/ho/se, it has always been hard to shift, and i have trimmed the spring like they did on the YouTube vid. and that helped but i didn't know how much i could trim off of it, it only does it while it's running
Battery Relocation
Hello
I have installed a radiator relocation kit and in the process of installing a snorkel kit. I am noticing that if I follow all the instructions that I will not longer be able to get at my battery for replacement if necessary as all connections are glued. it appears that i would no longer be able to take the front rack off after the install. Is this the norm? or is there an accessory kit to relocate the battery to the location vacated by the radiator relocation? curious as to how this is being accomplished
working on a 2015 Sportsman 850 SP
Thanks in advance

Sportsman 570 EFI Cold Start Problems
Hi everyone and Happy new year. I have a new 2017 570 sportsman efi with 88 miles on it. It has been below 0 all week here in Green Bay. I use my sportsman strictly for winter ice fishing. I go to start it at 5 in the morning and it pops right off it continues to run and idle great until I shut it off. Yesterday I was on Green Bay 5 miles from anywhere in extremely dangerous conditions. The machine has left me stranded and walking twice now. I've installed a new agm battery and use the battery tender every night after use. I run premium gas and use fuel treatment in my gas to avoid water issues. The machine turns over great when I go to restart it start it but it does not fire up. This last time I was gun shy so I was carful to not let the engine cool below 40 degrees, still did not fire up. Missing out on the last 2 fishing days of my vacation because I afraid to shut my machine off. Any insight would be greatly appreciated Thanks for your input in advance, Tom.
Overcharging/Speedo cuts off and on
My 2003 700 was charging@19v. I replaced the regulator and fixed that issue. Before I fixed the regulator the speedometer was cutting out and coming back on. When it cuts out I have no power to lights,AWD, winch etc. Can overcharging fry the speedo, my shop manual states that the speedo will shut off with excessive voltage to the DC bus, and is designed to survive this event? I checked the red/white wire at speedo and doesn't have 12v. I replaced this speedo 4yrs ago when I purchased due to roll over which damaged speedo. Any ideas what else to check.
Thanks
Thanks
