2002 Sportsman 500 HO No Start/No Turn Over with Ignition
I have an older ATV that I use for plowing snow and unfortunately last week the ATV stopped working and will not start. I use a winch to raise and lower the blade
I can turn the ignition switch and there is no turn over what so ever.
I have checked a few things such as the fuses in a bag and i show 12volts passing through. I checked a couple wiring connections in the back what appears to be a relay and i see 12 volts. Any suggestions? Could i have put the wires on the new solenoid wrong?
Thanks for the help.
Alex
I can turn the ignition switch and there is no turn over what so ever.
- Battery has been checked and is good with 12.6 volts
- The headlights work when the ignition switch is turned on.
- I can start and get the ATV running if i jump the solenoid poles
- Solenoid has been replaced
- When running the Winch will not work

Can I Swap to a non-ADC diff
2008 Sportsman 500 EFI HO
Front diff is in rough shape. Previous owner ran without fluid for who knows how long. Bearings are shot but the biggest problem is the input shaft is pretty scarred up in the needle bearing area. Not sure it's worth reusing and that shaft is expensive...so is a new(used) diff.
I don't care about the ADC, can I run a non ADC front diff in this machine with no other issues?
I'm new to this...thanks in advance for the help.

Winch install
I have a 2001 Sportsman 500 H.O., that I want to put a winch one. If anyone has the same model and has installed a winch, I would like some info regarding the mount and where to install the mount as well as if I should consider replacing the OEM battery for a more powerful battery?
Intro
Hi, I live in Oklahoma and just acquired a decent running 2001 Polaris Sportsman 500 cc H.O. I plan on using it for a variety of both lawn and sporting events.
570 vs 450 decision
First off yes I did search, I searched for 30 minutes on Google actually, along with YouTube.
After a few years of wearing her down I finally convinced my wife to upgrade my atv. I've had the same hand me down 93 250 4x4 now for years. I use it almost exclusively for plowing and ice fishing but mainly plowing anymore. I have narrowed it down between a 570 sportsman and 450 sportsman. I can get a 2017 570 for 5900 otd, or a 2018 450 for 5504 otd. Two different dealers here as well. I've called 4 different polaris dealers and have been pricing cfmoto as well (turns out not near as cheap as they claim). What would you do? I would rather have the 570, but from the looks of it they made some decent improvements to the 2018 models. From a price perspective I was only expecting the 450 to be in the low 5k range but apparently the prices went up accrossed the board a couple years ago.

ACE in The Hole: Modded Mondays

Can you say power to weight ratio?!
The crew over at High Lifter Products pretty much pulls out all the stops on every single build they complete and this Polaris ACE is no exception. This one in particular is very little ACE and a hole lot of custom from the suspension that replace the OEM strut system to the XP 1000 motor that powers it. Check out this walk around video from Side by Side Stuff for an up close view.
