Hey guys and gals. New here to the AVT world. I bought a 2009 Sportsman 800. I ordered the front a arms from Super ATV. My question is what do I do about lifting the back. I read where the a arms lift the front.
2017 Polaris sportsman 850 rolls over but won’t start
Hello,
So I went out and to ride my bike today, the engine would roll over but wouldn't start (some times fires for a second or two then dies). It started and ran fine yesterday (first time in snow if that could of caused an issue). The display said low fuel and I topped it up but that made no difference. Fuel pump runs for a few seconds when I first turn the key like normal.
Engine light came on after trying to start it a few times, diagnostic code is 1268 Ignition coil primary driver 1(MAG)- DRIVER CIRCUIT SHORT TO BATTERY +.
I have the bike in the shop right now with battery charger on it(was down a little after starting attempts) and a heater blowing on it, Currently -12 here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Loving the new wheels and tires!
We got quite a bit of rain yesterday, finally.
The wife and I took advantage of the wet grounds and went for a ride. No dust was great!
This was the first ride with the new Bearclaw HTR tires on both our bikes. All I have to say is WOW!
These tires are amazing! Lateral grip is phenomenal, traction was superb in all conditions. Mud, wet rocks, sand, clay, it didnt matter. These tires grabbed everything and just pulled right through, up, and over everything we found. They cleaned out very well, even in the sticky clay. Can’t wait to get out and find some new trails to ride!
We have ridden these same trails a few times now always when it was dry with the stock tires that came on our bikes. The stock tires had less grip on a lot of the surfaces than the HTRs did over the same wet surfaces. I’m a believer and my wife is now too. She couldn’t stop talking about how well the tires performed and gave her more confidence over obstacles compared to her stock tires.
A few pics below of my toy hauling set up and the bikes out on the trails.

2018 570 x2 EPS First Problem
I’m 66 y.o. and new to riding ATVs. We purchased a couple weeks ago to get us down to lake and back, about a 30 degree hill. Yesterday it died, then orange light w/steering wheel and exclamation mark came on. Power steering out. Diagnostic Code is 31. 520230. 1. Suggestions please?
Stop Screw Factory Setting XP 850 2012?
I have just been fiddling the throttle stop screw on my intake manifold which I cannot find any factory settings for. I wonder if anyone knows how many turns I should screw it in for optimal performance. The ATV is fully original. Thanks in advance

Running engine with no airbox and no fuel pump for problem diagnosis
Will an ATV run fairly OK with only minor adjustments needed with the airbox/filter removed? I mean a lawnmower will, so why not a ATV?
Also, to by-pass the fuel pump, can you gravity feed the carb? E.g. does a motorcycle have to have a fuel pump, or does it gravity feed the bowl due to the fact that the tank is always higher than the carb?
General questions as I am fairly new working on ATVs, and wondering what my options might be to eliminate certain parts as being 'the problem'.
I have been having issues trying to get my ATV to run right lately, and I would like to eliminate the fuel pump. But I also just installed all new guts in the carb, and would like to adjust the carb a bit before I put all the airbox stuff back on. it is a pain and time consuming to remove.

renegade frame pic request
So here is an odd request. I'm looking to compare renegade frames from 2012 and up. specifically the front radiator mount area. Care to share some pictures? Feel free to IM me and I can also send you an email address to send to as well.
This is the area I'm interested in. Any angle is fine and let me know if you have modified it in any way.

Thanks!

Problem after rollover Outlander 800R Max ltd
Hi all,
I'm sitting here typing with my left hand only because my right arm is broken and is in plaster and a brace, bruised ribs and bruises all over my body after a rollover 4 days ago. It happend on the road with low speed, all most no speed at all. I was stopped at a stop sign to take a left turn on a main road, so I take of as always but as soon I take the turn it was like my handlebar was pulling all the way to the left and that causes the rollover. My luck was that I have a big topcase on the back the protected me from the total weight of the quad. So the quad did a full rollover and landed to a on his left side. My luck was that there was no up cumming traffic because I was landed on the wrong side of the road since I did a full turn (like you would do a donought ). After a few seconds there was a friendly bus driver that stopped and helped me to get the quad back on his 4 wheels. The engine was still running and I was full of adrenaline and picked up all my stuff that was on the road and didn't realised that my arm was broken and drove home ( only a few miles ). When I was home I saw that he was leaking oil in the front , it comes from before the engine and drips on the main frame beam. It is not engine oil, any clue what oil it could be and what causes the problem for the rollover. The outlander is a 2012 MAX ltd model.
Regards Kris
