New member, new problem

Hey Folks,

New member here in New Hope, PA. We bought a 2002 Sportsman 90 for our boys to put away for xmas. Looks like new, and ran like new when I checked it out. Have been taking it out and running it as the weather here has been going from the 60's to the 30's depending on the day. The plan was to check out starting and running reliability in a broad spectrum of temps, which WAS going extremely well.

After a dozen or so 10-15 minute runs, after warming it up for 10 minutes, it's suddenly cutting out. Starts and idles fine. Lets me accelerate to top speed even, but randomly (within a minute or two after warm up) cuts out. Hit the button and it starts right up, but again will die in a minute or so. I'm totally new to this world and found the service manual online, but where to start? Thanks in advance!

replacement wheel help (1999 500)

I want to get new wheels and new tires to refresh this ride.

I think I need:
10x8 - 3+5 Offset - 4/156


OEM Part # and Description is:
1520217-067 RIM,REAR,(8.5X10)

I know for certain that 4/156 is correct, but I am not sure about offset.

Tire size is 25x11-10.

Anyone know more than me?



Front rims are 12" and easy to locate, the 10" not so much.

Outlander Max 570 XT

Anyone with a 17/18 max 570 xt that can give some feedback or performance review on this machine?

Been looking for a 650 locally and haven't had a whole lot of luck, thinking the 570 max xt is my runner up choice as there are some avail in the color I prefer. I'll be riding 90% solo with occasional tag along small kid/wife.

Only thing I'm not real keen on initially is the lighting seems marginal but I think that can be fixed pretty easily.

Defender wheels on a outty

I got a chance to pick up some nice 12" defender wheels with powergrip on them , but because of what Photobucket did I can't find any pics. Anyone got the black defender wheels on their outlander? Thanks

Polaris outlaw 50cc help

Hi people
Got my lad a Polaris outlaw 50cc quad non runner.
Friend of mine is struggling to get it running so any help would be appreciated

Has power to everything other than ecu and coil....
