Sloppy Tranny or just my imagination???

Hey Folks, I have a 2016 Polaris Sportsman Touring 570 EPS with 4x4 drivetrain. When I start my rig up and shift into reverse or drive and start to accelerate there is brief pause in engagement of the tranny and it hits quite hard once it engages. Is this normal with the shaft driven atv's? I have a belt drive Trail boss that doesn't do that. I only have 500 miles on it and its done that since day 1.
Any help would be appreciated.

Rear Wheels

I have a 2018 HD8 Defender and I was wondering if anyone has put the same size wheel and tire on the front to match the rear?

Why is the C/R so low on an Xplorer 300?

I've heard allot of 2 stroke guys will remove the head gasket to bump the C/R up.

The shop manual says the Xplorer 300 has a C/R of something like 6.7:1. Why so low?

I've read about squish bands and all but that's sounds like something easily screwed up if your not careful.

Any of you guys ever fooled around with this engine? Shaving the head, squish bands, etc.

Polaris Ranger 570 Got Wet

I submerged my Polaris Ranger 570 in water on Friday. Got water in the motor but change the oil 3 time to get all the water out. Run fine for about 30 miles. Polaris died on me Sunday morning going in to hunt. Had to be towed back to camp. It made a noise like a chain coming off the sprocket then died. Nothing works on it. No lights, No Start, just makes a clicking noise like the battery is dead but the battery is OK. When I turn on the key the dash lights flicker. And If I try to start it it only make a click noise.

2018 x2 570 won’t start

So I sunk my bike.
Followed all the steps to drain the water. Then Changed my motor oil, demand drive and tranny/rear end oil. Put a new spark plug in and coated all connection with Dielectric grease but it still won’t fire up. Tonight I’m going to drain the gas tank and switch out the gas. But I do t think that’s the issue but need to rule that out.
Am I missing something

Powersteering troubleshooting

Ive got a 2015 outlander 800xmr, i bought it brandnew. The powersteering has never in my opnion been the greatest. Most of the time it still takes a little effort on my part to turn the tires but its been like that since new. Last weekend we went riding and the steering feelt like always but in the middle of the ride i felt my self having to put alot more effort into steering. All 3 DPS settings feel the same. I had the bike stationary in neutral on flat hard ground and in each setting i went lock to lock multiple times and i felt no change. How can i trouble shoot to find the problem. No i havent checked the fuses yet. Im going to do that b4 anytimhing else but im wanting to know if there is a sets of tests i can do. Also for those with the xmrs or a reg outlander with 30in backs, how easy is your steering? My girlfriend just bouggt a 2017 honda rubicon with powersteering and it sits on 27 itp xls and that steering is like butter.
